"Happy birthday to youu~ happy birthday to youu~ Happy birthday happy birthday... Happy birthday to youuu~"

I set the cake down in front of Keiji, with it's way too little amount of candles for his age and it's starting to melt frosting. He grins up at me, dimples showing.

"Happy birthday Eiji." I whisper, only for us to hear.

His grin goes slightly wider before he turns to the cake.

"Make a wish!"

(akaashi pov)

I wish to be with Y/n forever, to have these friends forever.

I wish for us to be happy.

I blow out the literal five candles (a far cry to the tqenty it's supposed to have) and everyone cheers.

When I say everyone cheers, I mean about a total of like, twenty-ish people cheer.

Y/n threw this party for me, I love her so much, I'm not even going to lie.

"Yayyy! Cut cake cut cake!" Mitsuki claps excitedly.

"Mitsu you big back! All you want is to eat cake." Y/n calls, laughing.

"Hey I never said I was here for him!" She shoots back, but smiles politely at me anyways.

"Rude." I hold back a laugh, taking the knife from Bokuto (who I don't trust with this thing even though it's literally plastic) to cut the cake, much to Mitsuki's delight.

The cake is taken off my hands after I actually do the first cut. Apparently the birthday boy isn't allowed to serve the cake.

Once the cake is distributed properly, Y/n plops down next to me, after serving herself last.

"Oh you didn't have to wait for me." She smiles, seeing as I hadn't touched my slice of cake yet.

"I wanted to." I shrug, leaning over and kissing her cheek.

We both dig into the cake, it's chocolate flavoured, with blue frosting and a big gold 20 written on the top, though the 20 had now been cut up into pieces.

"Hey Keiji."

"Hm?"

She plops a small bit of frosting on my nose, and I struggle to not start grinning like an idiot. I lean forward and rub my nose against hers, pressing the frosting on her too.

We both laugh, she grabs a tissue to clean off the frosting from my nose, then hers.

Once she's done I catch her with a kiss. She smiles into my lips, kissing me back before pulling away.

"I'm not gonna lie right." I start, and she rests her head on my shoulder.

"Hm?"

"This is kind of awesome."

"You really think so?" She shoots up, excitedly.

"Yeah." I grin. "I love it."

"I'm glad." She smiles back, tipping her head back onto my shoulder.

"Hey Akaashi! Stop sitting in the corner. like a loser and join us!"

A shout sounds from across the room, where Kuroo, Bokuto and Kenma are playing pool.

Oh yeah.

They rented a whole ass pool table for me.

I can't say I'm complaining.

"Yeah yeah." I call back, putting a hand on Y/n's thigh as I stand up.

"I'm call 'Kaashi's team!" Bokuto yells.

"Hell no I'm wih birthday boy!" Kuroo frowns.

"Jeez. Just rock paper scissors it."

I ended up playing with Kenma.

And we swepted their asses.
