At the same time as the eggs of the dragon queens hatch, the eggs of the 10 female dragons also begin to hatch.

In the cave in Lärje, the gray dragon female and the light blue male stand ready at the first nest to see when their first dragon cubs hatch. The eggs start to move and crackle. Cracks form in the eggshell and the crackle quickly becomes louder. A clear liquid oozes from the eggs. This means that the baby dragons are doing well in the eggs.

The cracks in the eggshell get bigger and the eggs move wilder. The eggshells are pushed up from the inside by the baby dragons. Some of them press against the shell very hard and the shell comes off more and more. Soon the baby dragons start tumbling out of the nest.

The nest is soon full of little newly hatched baby dragons. They stay in the nest until their balance improves. After a short while, the baby dragons crawl out of the nest and stop in front of their large parents. But none of the dragon cubs are afraid of either the father or the mother.

The female and male go to the second nest to see when the eggs hatch. The large white eggs begin to move and cracks form in the hard white shell. The transparent liquid flows out of the eggs and the baby dragons in the eggs start to move more. The cracks grow longer and larger as the baby dragons press against the shell. Some baby dragons manage to squeeze so hard that the shells almost fly off the eggs and land in the nest.

The young dragons that have loosened their shell enough to come out tumble into the nest on shaky and unsteady legs. Both the female and the male find it funny to watch the baby dragons emerge from their eggs. The baby dragons have big eyes and are very cute too.

The nest starts to get full of little baby dragons and the baby dragons crawl out of the nest and they look at the two parents and the other baby dragons. The newly hatched baby dragons approach the baby dragons that hatched in the first nest and greet them. All the baby dragons are curious about each other and they sniff and look at each other.

The female and male go to the third nest while the baby dragons socialize with each other. The eggs in the third nest begin to move and crack. Two of the eggs do not move at all and no sound is heard from them. The male sniffs the two eggs and notes that the two baby dragons have unfortunately died and he tells the female and she becomes sad. But the other eggs hatch without problems and that's good.

Soon the 53 eggs are hatched and the baby dragons stomp around the nest for a while before crawling up to the waiting parents. The male fetches food for the little dragon cubs and they eat their first food with good appetite.

At the same time as the baby dragons hatch in Lärje, several eggs in a small cave in Angered begin to shake and crackle. Cracks form in the hard white shells. Some of the shells are pushed up but lowered again. It bubbles from the eggs. More cracks form and a clear liquid begins to ooze from each egg.

When the liquid has run out, the dragon cubs press on the shell again and this time the shell does not sink, but begins to loosen. The female that has laid the eggs stands and watches as the shells crack more and more. The male is still sleeping. The crunch from the eggs gets louder and the female likes the sound. From several eggs, dragon chicks' legs and tails stick out. The baby dragons' legs and tails move uncoordinatedly, but the cracks in their shells get bigger.

After a short while, all the baby dragons have come out of their eggs and are walking around the nest on unsteady legs. But their stability quickly improves and the baby dragons begin to climb out of the nest and up to their waiting mother. When all the young dragons have emerged from the nest, the female goes to her next nest. The dragon cubs eagerly follow her.

Cracks are starting to form on the eggs that are in the second nest. At first, the cracks are not so visible, but when they get bigger, they are visible from afar. The transparent liquid flows out of the eggs and it smells wonderfully good. It smells very good when the eggs hatch and not just from the liquid. The baby dragons also smell good. But no dragons would ever want to eat their own offspring.
