47: The New Principal and The Power Struggle.

An assembly was held the next day, and all of the students and teachers were summoned to the auditorium. The rumor of a new principal spread like wildfire. After the long period of Electra being Principal, her administration has come to an end.

Goke wasn't happy about the humiliation he faced yesterday, Denise wasn't fazed by him which annoyed him to no end. No girl rejected Adegoke Balogun and got away with it.

Denise's mind was far away, she did not admit to her mother that she never showed up. She half expected that the office of the therapist would call and ask why she hadn't shown but that was her wishful thinking.

Colton was worried about Pedro, he was very weird yesterday. Colton couldn't tell Caleb about his encounter because he was advised against going.

Daniella was trying to reach out to Ashley before she finally left for boarding school, Vivanne didn't seem to care much, she had other
Caleb was bored, he really didn't want to be in some silly assembly about a new principal he wouldn't give a fuck about.

The vice principal walked toward the podium, he had a grim look on his face, and the students continued murmuring but the students didn't seem to care.

"Good morning everyone, I am sure you know why this meeting is called, we all know that Principal Electra was recently removed from her position, and someone new and fresh has been approved by the board to head and lead us in glory.

I want to introduce Dr Anuoluwapo Ayowusi, the new Principal of Bellrich High School!"

The entire auditorium went quiet, Dr. Anu was well known. This was a turn of events nobody would have expected. Why did they choose him? Knowing his horrible past and the way the school treated him.

Dr. Anu hated the concept of class disparities at Bellrich Academy. He hated that talented students were on the lowest part of the social hierarchy and the so-called Bellrich Elites were on top. The more you donated, the more power you would have. It made no sense to him.

He hated it more because Bellrich Elites were disrespectful, they had no regard for their principal, and they were nothing but rich delinquents. He believed in corporal punishment, and that was why he was chased disgracefully out of school.

Dr. Anu was fired two years before when he was framed by the top elite students. Now? Everybody remembered how he swore to avenge himself and the students that they brought down.

Horror could seen on the elite's faces, they knew they were in trouble if they didn't do anything, fast.

Denise noticed the collective shock and horror and it didn't move past her that it was coming from the Elites. Pale, mouth agape, some of them looked genuinely terrified even Colton Wilfred which was weird because she thought he couldn't display emotions.

It was lunch break, she was just coming from seeing Praticia who had been sick and couldn't come to school, she was just happy that everything was alright.

"Hey! Wait!" Goke screamed at her. Denise turned and rolled her eyes immediately. She had too many things to do to care about some obnoxious fine boy who thought he could disturb her.

She walked faster hoping he would leave her, but of course, his legs were longer and faster. He managed to jump in front of her and she groaned in frustration. Cynthia telling her who he was didn't make her see him differently, she just decided to avoid him because he was acting crazy.

"Hey," he grinned, but she didn't return the gesture.

"What is it now?" she asked with exasperation etched in her voice, he had prevented her from going to class, and Cynthian was waiting with their snacks.
