The next morning, Emma makes her way over to Y/N's room, her face lined with worry. She bites her lip, hoping Y/N returned during the night. When she pushes open the door, her concern is momentarily replaced by surprise. Y/N's bed isn't empty — but instead of Y/N, she finds Mikey, fully dressed, fast asleep under the covers.

What is he doing here? Emma wonders, frowning slightly as she approaches the bed. She knows from experience that just calling his name won't wake him up, so she reaches out and shakes his shoulder urgently. "Mikey, wake up. What are you doing in Y/N's room?"

Mikey groans, shifting under the blanket before his eyes flutter open, irritated. "Emma?", he mutters groggily, sitting up and rubbing his eyes with the heel of his hand.

"What happened? Why are you fully dressed, laying in Y/N's bed?", Emma demands, her voice a mix of impatience and worry.

Mikey blinks groggily, glancing around as if trying to piece together where he is. "She's not back yet?", he mumbles, still half-asleep.

"No... .", Emma's voice falters, the worry returning as she looks down, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.

Mikey sighs heavily, letting his head hang low. "Looks like I fell asleep while I was waiting for her."

"You waited?", Emma asks, her surprise clear as she looks at Mikey's exhausted face. "How long?"

He shrugs, running a hand through his messy hair. "I don't know. After looking for her all night, I came here... . I don't really remember." He winces, feeling a headache pounding behind his eyes, the weight of exhaustion catching up with him.

Emma frowns, noticing just how worn out he looks. Without a word, she grabs his arm, pulling him up from the bed. "Come on, you need sleep. You won't be any help in this condition. I'll wake you if anything changes."

Mikey stumbles after her, too tired to resist, though he mutters, "No... . I need to keep looking for her... ." His steps are unsteady, his legs weak from the lack of rest.

Emma clicks her tongue in frustration and pushes him down onto his own bed. "Now sleep.", she says firmly, her hands on her hips. "You can't do anything like this."

Mikey opens his mouth to protest, but the words die on his lips as his body gives in to the overwhelming fatigue. Within moments, he's fast asleep again, his breathing evening out.

Emma watches him for a second, her expression softening. Gently, she pulls the blanket up over him and tucks him in, a small smile forming on her lips. She leaves the room quietly, closing the door behind her with a soft click, her heart still heavy with worry for Y/N.

Earlier that morning, in Izana's apartment... .

It's around six in the morning when you wake up to the soft rustling sounds coming from the kitchen. Blinking against the early sunlight streaming in through the window, you try to sit up, immediately feeling the stiffness in your back. A sharp pain shoots through you, and you wince. Ugh... . This is worse than the park bench. You think, annoyed, recalling how comfortable sleeping on the couch was.

Slowly, you get to your feet and wobble over to the kitchen, where Izana is already preparing breakfast. He glances back over his shoulder, his cold eyes meeting yours. "Finally awake? I thought you'd sleep forever."

Rubbing your eyes, you lean against the doorframe. "What time is it?", you ask, your voice raspy from sleep.

"Around six, I think.", Izana responds, focused on the food he's preparing.
