"Shard, I think this bone dragon can easily be beaten." Sky said. "It's made of bones, after all."

"Then get up here and help me!!" Shard yelled from the air.

"On my way!" Sky said as she used her energy blasts to rocket upward. She raised her arms and blasted the bone dragon's wings, causing them to explode. Even though they SHOULD have shattered, they stayed in place, charred and burnt.

Sky looked dumbfounded at the bones before Shard grabbed her out of the air, nearly missing a fireball.

"Sky, you okay?" Shard said as he looked into her eyes. Dammit, Sky thought. He's doing it again. That cute look that throws me off-- oh shiii-- Sky pulled Shard back, saving him from a fireball. The two looked at each other and giggled a bit before charging back at the beast. Shard and Sky soon tired out and slid away from the bone dragon and into the sand, Shard holding Sky on his back. "Hold on!!" He yelled.

Sky held Shard's shoulders tightly and Shard made a mad dash to the ruins. Shard collapsed when they got there. "Shard!" Sky yelled. She held his arm and looked up to see pictures on the wall. It showed the mighty bone dragon, and it's destructive power.

One picture showed the dragon upon a pedestal, apparently an evil ruler that terrorized everything. However, another picture showed that the creature's weakness was ice! Once the bones are frozen, they can be smashed, given enough force. Sky held Shard up to her face and looked him in his weary eyes. "Ice is its weakness. Let's go!"

"H-how..?" Shard said as Sky healed his wounds. "There's no ice around here in the hot, steamy dese--wait. Didn't we see an oasis down the road from here? Or so we thought we did?"

"Yeah! Maybe we can freeze the water there! If it's real, I mean..."

"Let's go!" Shard said. He picked up Sky and flew off to the oasis.
