Louis couldn't think straight. He was pacing back and forth in his room, lost in jealousy and paranoia. Practice had been canceled because of Harry -- the poor bloke had called in sick (well, Dani did), and the rest of the band had been more than glad to take it easy today.

And now, instead of spending his day with Jewel, he was stuck in his suite alone, wondering if Zayn was done with her. They've been gone for more than an hour now, and knowing Zayn, he would probably keep her entertained for days. He was more than certain that his bud was dying to get back at him for plucking Jewel from under his nose back at the wedding vacation.

Thoughts about getting a smoke filled his brain, but Louis didn't want to be caught off guard. What if she returned out of the blue? So he poured himself a shot of whiskey.

And another.

And another.

Yet no matter how much he fantasised about her return, she didn't materialise in front of him. Louis sunk in his sofa in defeat, blaming himself for being so complacent about his relationship with her. Why couldn't he just man up and settle down for real? But he couldn't fight it off -- the need to gain the world. He knew getting married was the wrong decision right now. He knew that Jewel wasn't asking for a ring on her finger, but he knew that with his current lifestyle, it would be wrong to get hitched.

What would their fans think? They haven't even revealed Harry's wedding yet -- or Liam's, although Louis was pretty sure that almost everyone had been expecting the latter's decision for quite some time now. But Harry? He couldn't imagine the damage it would do to their image. When you're in a boy band, it was risky to have a girlfriend in public (God knows how it ruined El and the others), so getting married would mean a drastic change in the group's dynamic.

And they were still so young.

Louis swished the copper liquid in his glass and sighed. He wasn't ready to be with Jewel, after all. Sure, he loved her, but he still loved himself more. He loved his career more than he loved her. Maybe he didn't deserve her...

His sleepy, drunken thoughts were interrupted when a door closed. Louis would have jumped from his seat if he wasn't so out of it, but the moment Jewel walked into his line of sight, his body came back to life. He was off the couch in seconds, and with a furious rake of hands through his hair, he was already pulling her soft body against his.

"Louis," she breathed his name, and Louis felt his insides burst. He buried his face against her thick, dark hair, wondering where all the doubts were whenever she was near. "Are you drunk?"

"Mmmm," he moaned, his hands wandering down her body, moving her towards the bedroom. Louis didn't even know how, but he was hard as a rock. The thought of having her here with him reminded him of their passionate love-making in his private jet. He'd never forget her; he didn't think he'd be able to sleep with anyone else without the memory of her moans or the taste of her in his tongue.

When Jewel tried to push him away, Louis' chest constricted with unbridled anger. "Did you sleep with him?!" he asked. "Did something happen between the two of you!?"

"Why do you want to know?"

She was probably teasing, but Louis didn't have patience for it. He was already pushing her skirt up her waist, pulling her panties down her legs. He spread her legs apart, and with his other hand unbuttoned his jeans and freed himself. He didn't think he'd ever been this hard before. Grabbing his length, he plunged inside of her, and the warmth that enveloped him was as addicting since the last time.

He watched with pleasure as she hazily stared at him, as if she too was enraptured in bliss. When her walls clenched harder around him, Louis hissed a curse in response. He groaned when she started to move her hips, pushing harder against him, taking more of him inside her core.
