A/N: I haven't had the chance to buy a sword...sad:(

Nico's POV

Nico sat on the counter, eating a bowl of Chinese take-out.

"So in the three months we've been here, no monsters?" Will confirmed. He was wearing one of Nico's sweaters and a pair of shorts, ne sat in an actual chair, reviewing notes from his classes earlier in the day.

"Unless you count the time a crow wouldn't leave you alone, nope," Nico nodded. He was also wearing his partners hoodie. It was a rare sighting of Nico not wearing black.

"So, in this huge ass city, that basically reeks of death and disaster, no monsters." Will said, glancing at Nico.

"Nor have I seen a God, unless it was Apollo, but even he seemed reluctant to come to Gotham...have you felt any half-bloods?" Nico asked Will. He fiddled with the ring on his finger, twisting and pulling it on and off again.

Will just groaned, Nico was pretty sure it was at his notes. "Will, why are you groaning, You can actually read,"

"Why is mortal medical stuff so stupid?" Will asked, glaring daggers at the paper.

"Because mortals are stupid," Nico deadpaned.

"But like, They have twenty different stitches. We only need two! A cross stitch for big and long-term wounds and a soldier stitch for small stabs and slashes. Two!" Will complained,

Nico knew very well why they had so many because Mortals actually had to deal with wounds after 25.

"You're starting to sound like Jackson," Nico told him, as he took a bite of food.

"Ughh," Will groaned again, slamming his head down on the table.

"Do you want to take a break and eat?" Nico - like the good boyfriend he is - asked.

Will nodded and got up, he took out the extra food from the fridge and put it in the microwave, he pressed some buttons Nico couldn't read, and pressed start.

"Why do I feel like we're in a horror movie?" Will asks, leaning on the counter next to Nico.

"Because are dads are Gods?" Nico smiled,

"Don't remind me," Will said. He rested his chin on his knuckles and sighed.

They sat in silence for a minute before the machine of re-heat beeped.

Will got up and grabbed the bowl of noodles. He took a bite and swallowed before sighing. "This is mediocre re-heated," Will said, taking another bite.

"Then you should have eaten when the food came," Nico said, getting up and walking to the living room

They were watching a movie, they caved and bought a TV, seeing that this place had literally no monsters, and needed some form of entertainment.

"So, there's the local news, the state news, and the national news," Nico asked. He tended to stay away from the internet, but figured it would be okay for now.

"Yep...any Idea what the 'young Justice' is?" Will asked as he clicked onto the state news. He saw that it was an interview and got excited.

"I think Connor might have mentioned something about sidekicks?" Nico told him, very unsure of himself.

They watched as the teenagers answered questions but slowly got uncomfortable as the questions got more and more personal.

"So the Justice league makes kids fight...they are almost on God level of bad, only they also fight and care about the kids...I think" Nico said to himself, he subconsciously grabbed Will's hand.
