My eyes opened at mid night when a strange sense of someone's presence wake me up.
I couldn't move my body. I was paralyzed and body was jammed where I laid.
The fear started to crumble to my spine as I tried to get up and scream and move my legs. It sat on me in the darkness, staring at me as my voice got a lot quiter and I needed oxygen as it started to feel heavy on my chest.
In the fear I tried to move my fingers but it wasn't working.
"Luna! Luna!" I shouted but it was like my soul was calling for help and not my physical body. Tears started to rush heavily on my ears.
Shivers after shivers, I fluttered my whole sense of body to feel anything. The high scream of the shadow started to get louder. I moved my fingers slowly and got my control on the left hand to move freely, and grabbed the knife placed beneath my pillow.
"Die! Die! Die!" I screamed and moved it sharply towards the shadow as it was still not harmed and my body crushed beneath it.
I started coughing blood and my ribcage gotten crushed and I was on the verge of dying the worst way.
The shadow grabbed my hands and shooked me wildly, a knife fell on the floor and the vibration on my whole body travelled like my soul is leaving.
I gasped and gasped louder.
"Inessa? You okay?" Luna's voice reached me, she stood behind the door.
I couldn't answer and my voice started to shake violently.
"Inessa, what's happening! I am opening the do-" She came inside and I didn't know what happened after then, how she did everything as my eyes were closed due to pain, shock and fear.
When my eyes opened, the room's light were on and she was sitting on the floor, holding my hand.
I slowly regained my control but till then, I was shaking and couldn't speak anything.
"Inessa, can you hear me? Are you awake? Was it a nightmare?"
Nightmare?
No, it wasn't nightmare, it wasn't dream!
It was here! Real! So freaking real!
I touched my face with shaking fingers but couldn't feel or taste blood on my mouth.
I sat down and calmed myself. Still trying to get my mind off of what happened.
Her voice was muffled as a high pitched sound was still running in my mind.
"It was... here," I whispered.
Luna's face was dripping with confusion, I didn't even blink and pointed at the spot where it was.
"It was right here, and I couldn't do anything."
Was it my voice? So frightened, so uneven.
"What was here?" She asked.
I asked her to come closer as she did.
I whispered on her ears - "It comes to take me away."
Luna didn't move.
She slowly moved backwards where she was and after a while, she nodded - "How... how are you feeling now?"
"I feel shit," I said.
She grabbed a chair and pulled it next to my bed - "I will stay here, sleep."
How can I sleep? After what happened, thinking about waking up to that thing again makes me restless and fills me with anxiety.
"Inessa, are you listening?" She touched my shoulder and I looked at her, wide eyes and opened mouth.
"Huh?"
"Just sleep, don't worry, nobody's coming to hurt you," She assured me.
I closed my eyes but didn't stopped from moving pupil with the visions of that optical images. Those sounds, those laughs, those people. Who are they?
I turned around and squeezed my blanket up to my chest, breathing frantically.
Luna was breathing in the room. I tried to calm myself.
It didn't kill me.
For this time.

"What were you thinking? Why given his name for the co-leader, I doubt he can lead himself for goodness, how could you even think about him as a future house leader? Why choosing him amongst many brilliant students?" Gerald K. Barone shooked his head in disapproval.
Devius Crolus stood in the teacher's meeting building, facing the campus wall.
"Are you dissapointed that it's him and not him?" He raised his brows.
"I mean... am I wrong? Just think it practically, why ruining this campus golden opportunity on such boy? You know why he isn't suitable for the role?" Barone walked next to him and completed - "Exel Storm isn't a normal student."
"I know."
"Then? Why you-"
"I said it already, It wasn't me, it was the headquarter, we had already announced it to the students so we can't withdrew his name back, it's against the rule."
"Fuck your rules." He growled.
Crolus just closed his eyes and said - "We will see, he is my student, they would have changed his name in any moment but they didn't, which means... he deserved that position, now stop obsessing over young boy."
"I am not the only one in this campus who is obsessing over him, Students behind those wall also are as curious and amazed as everyone."
He stepped back and took the scroll from the table - "I came here for the scroll, thank you."
Crolus turned around and with a serious face, he said - "Did you talked with Kourtney Bell?"
"I will, tommorrow."
"Great, tell her to meet me tommorrow as well, it's going to be a super busy month."
"I sure will." Barone rolled his eyes and stormed out of the empty Teacher's quarter.

Luna sat on the chair, watching as Inessa didn't move an inch.
She knew she hasn't slept yet.
So she sat there longer.
"Don't worry, I am not leaving you, so sleep well," she said.
Inessa didn't move, it was obvious by how much she was suppressing her breath in an act to look like she fell asleep.
"Do you want to hear lullaby?" Luna asked.
"No," It was a sharp reply.
