Shower

Vi hadn't gotten the chance to bathe properly since the fight. Traces of sweat and blood were still on her body and it started to cause her a lot of discomfort. As Caitlyn lay still next to her, Vi snuck out of the bed, grabbing some clothes as made her way to Caitlyn's shower. Vi went to close the door with her right hand but groaned from pain when she touched it against the doorknob. She had almost forgotten the massive hole in her hand. The door quickly swung open and Caitlyn and Vi were facing each other.

"Damn..." Vi muttered.

"Didn't want to ask for my help?" Caitlyn joked.

"Well, you know you looked so peaceful laying there," Vi responded.

"We're gonna have to cover it with something so it doesn't get wet if you want to take a shower," Caitlyn realized.

"Yeah, I know, I know," Vi mumbled.

Caitlyn quickly left her room to find something. After searching around, she went to the kitchen and grabbed something that wouldn't absorb the water. She made her way back to Vi who had started running the water to the shower.

"Weren't you the one telling me about late-night trips last time?" Caitlyn teased.

"Well, that was a cold depressing balcony trip. This was a warm cosy shower trip," Vi rebutted.

"You know I... enjoy accompanying you," Caitlyn whispered as she walked closer to Vi.

"Then... accompany me," Vi replied.

Vi got out of her clothes and wrapped her hand to avoid ruining the bandages. She stepped under the water and sighed. Caitlyn soon followed Vi under the water and wrapped her arms around Vi's stomach, resting her chin on Vi's shoulder.

The temperature was perfect, and Caitlyn's body provided even more warmth for Vi. These moments were when she felt the most relaxed. The feeling was... nostalgic and euphoric, it made Vi's body tingle. She grabbed Caitlyn's hands with her own and leaned her head back.

"Do you want to..." Caitlyn started.

"Let's just stay like this. This is all I need right now," Vi interrupted.

Caitlyn hugged as tight as she could. Neither of them wanted to lose this feeling.
