<Min's POV>
Uuwi na talaga ako, kung kelangan kong maglakad pauwi gagawin ko yun!
“Min!!!”I heard a familiar female voice call out to me, pero wala ako sa mood makipag-usap ngayon. I just want to go home, pero I stopped walking all the same. “Can we talk? Please?” she said when she finally reached me.
“Next time na lang bhezt, gusto ko na talagang umuwi.”I answered without even looking at her. I resumed my walk.
“You can’t go home! Wala kang sundo, because you can’t call him because you left your purse sa hall.” Luna pointed out. She sounded very bossy, pero I haven’t actually realized that I left my purse there in the hall and wala nga akong sundo, so that means hindi ako makakauwi, hindi ko kayang magtaxi mag-isa, at ayaw kong ma-rape. “Bago kita piliting bumalik sa hall, we really need to talk. Because I believe I owe you some apology.” This time I looked at her and she was already facing the ground.
“Fine, what about? Yung sa Draco thingy niyo ni Duncan? Hmmm… Yung tinago mo sa akin that all this time you knew he likes me tapos you guys played with my feelings?” hindi ko naman balak ipamukha sana sa kanya na mali na tinago niya sa akin yun, pero ilang weeks ko ng kinikimkim yung galit ko sa kanya, hell it’s been more than a month already.
“I know you’re mad, and you’ve got the right to, pero sana naman hear me out. What Duncan and I planned was to keep it discrete that he likes you, dahil kay Rachel.” This time she’s pacing back and forth, left and right. “You know how much she hates you and Duncan doesn’t want to trigger another fight between you two, because he knows how much you value your membership sa Tae Team. He was afraid na kung mag-aaway kayo ulit hindi ka na makapagpigil.” Lumapit si Luna sa akin and took both of my hands. Then she stared at me, and my tears started to fall, biglaan na lang na kusang tumulo.
Kanina pa ako umiiyak! NAKAKAINIS NA!
I pulled my hands away from her grasp, “You don’t understand Luna. Alam mo ba yung feeling na hindi ka kayang ipaglaban ng lalakeng mahal mo sa kapatid niya?” I stared at her and she looked down, “NO! Hindi man lang niya kayang ipagtanggol ako sa kapatid niya!” nataasan ko siya ng boses. “You think it’s just that simple, but it’s not! Eh ano ngayon kung mag-away kami ni Rachel? I’ve been trying to suppress my anger to both of you for more than a month already, at kung ako pa rin yung Min dati kalbo na sana ngayon yung Rachel na yun!”
“Min, we’re just scared you’ll get suspended again. That’s all! We were worried for you!” she seems lost and confused kung paano niya i-eexplain sa akin ang lahat.
Lumapit ako kay Luna hanggang sa magkatapat na ang mga mukha namin sa isa’t isa, “Scared?” I laughed mockingly, “YOU HURT ME WITH WHAT YOU CALL CARING!” I stabbed her chest with my finger, “And you know what hurts most? Hindi yung pinaglihiman mo ako eh, hindi rin yung tinulungan mo si Duncan, pero yung fact na pareho niyong inisip na sa galit ko dinadaan lahat! I could have kicked Duncan’s balls kanina, pero I didn’t, the old me would have done that. There are so many things that you could do to hurt me, pero the worst is the fact that you don’t believe that I can change; that I can be better.” My tears still keep on falling, pati ilong ko na rin barado na.
“Bhezt... please! See some light on this—” she tried to explain but I cut her off.
“See some light? On what? ALL OF THESE SHIT? HA. HA.” Lumayo ako sakanya at nag-umpisa na akong maglakad palayo papunta sa assembly hall to get my things. “There’s no light these days. These days it’s just pure darkness coupled with cold breeze.”
