Chapter 18

Arishira's POV:

A WEEK LATER: SUNDAY

"Mom! Dad!" I said and ran through the airport halls and hugged both of them. I decided to surprise them by waiting here on the airport.

"Sweetie. We've been missing you." Mom said and I pulled away from the hug.

I miss the both of them a lot.

Dad's assitants helped with their luggages and we went inside the car. Dad started the engine and drove all the way to our house.

I helped mom with the extra bags that they're bringing and I placed it on top of the table. They brought some beverages such as champagne and wine. Mom and dad even brought my favorite, chocolates!

Mom and dad went to the couch and they sat down as they rested their head. Honestly, I wanted to tell them something.

I want to tell them that I'm in a relationship with Osamu.

Osamu has been planning that I should meet his parents and, he should meet mine too.

I went to the living room and sat beside mom, meanwhile mom looked confused. "Is there anything that you need sweetie?"

I gained my composure and replied. "Mom...Dad..."

"Yes sweetie?" Mom said and dad looked at me, both of them are going to listen attentively.

"Mom...Dad... I'm in a relationship...." I said and both of them looked shocked.

"Relationship? With who?"  Dad asked.

"I'm in a relationship with Osamu Miya....." I replied. Although they're clueless who Osamu is, I can see mom and dad...smiling?

"Congratulations sweetie!" Mom congratulated as she pulled me into a hug.

I pulled away and spoke, nervousness came to me again. "So uhm....if it's okay...I want you mom and dad to meet Osamu tonight..."

"Alright sweetie," Dad spoke, his voice steady. "I'm glad that you're in a healthy relationship. I'm glad that someone's been taking care of you when we were away."

Mom gave me a kiss on my forehead. I'm so happy that both of them are supportive. I'm so....glad.

"So uhm mom.... I'm also meeting Osamu's parents right now so I better get going." I asked permission and they both nodded.

I went to my bedroom and entered the bathroom to take a warm shower. I'm also excited but nervous at the same time. I'm finally meeting Osamu's parents.

I wore a shirt sleeve floral midi dress with a beige cardigan and some sandals and waited for a bus. It didn't last long when a bus finally stopped and I rode on it.

The bus stopped after a few moments and looked at my phone. Osamu gave me directions to his house. I started to walk. I kept walking until I finally arrived infront of his house.

Miya Residence.

I rang the doorbell and I saw their door opened and it was Atsumu. He opened the gate for me and spoke. "Samu is still changing his clothes. He says he wanna look handsome."

I chuckled at Atsumu's statement and he led me inside. I saw his parents who's still cooking from the kitchen. Was I too early? Osamu told me to come here at 9 PM so I did.

I went up to them and they look shocked to see me. I bowed and greeted. "Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Miya. It's an honor to see you both."

Guess I've been practicing that line pretty well that it turned out great.
