"Bloody yes! You're gonna go with me to that new mall. What is it called again? I know! Its Paradise Heaven!" I reckon my eardrums are gonna burst. So much for picking up my precious phone and wasting my money on the paid card. " JADE VIOLET SHILLING I SWEAR IF YOU SHOUT IN MY EAR AGAIN YOU SHALL FIND YOUR HEAD ROLLING IN MY HOUSE. " Payback is always the best when you threaten your dearest best friend Jade. " By the freaking way, I'm not as free as you, kay? I need to get a job. Debts are piling. No one's helping. Poor me." I self-pitied in a song-like voice.

" Oh okay. I'm sorry. " Jade apologized for reminding me of my dead dad. "Nah. It's okay." Even though i said that, it would never be okay. We could have been a happy family of 4, but... an accident changed our life. Life would never be the same. That one truck driver killed 2 lives, not just 1.

"Hey I've got some stuff on so bye kay?" Bading goodbye to Jade was really hard."Bye dearest Karina, i'll love you always" I almost gagged. What bloody love? " Of course like a sister girl. I ain't lesbian.'" Jade probably sensed me gagging and hung up on me.

Life was so tough after Dad left. One year on, today last year. I lost my dad and knew  had an unborn sibling. I lost them all now. That baby, my sibling, dead. How I wish it never happened. I blame that truck driver. I blame alcohol. I blame myself to be at the mall. I blame dad's work. I blame how life works. I blame everything that accuses us.

A lonely tear escaped from my eye. So lonely. Like me. Though i'm glad today is a weekend. School tomorrow, wait till you see how life works "miracles" of me. And now i have to look for a job. Just wonderful.

"Yo Blessing!" That all so smart girl climbed into my car. " I SAID. DON'T. CALL. ME. BY. MY. FREAKING. MIDDLE. NAME." Yay. A volcano exploded into her face. Right, i'm such a fabulous volcano. Yes, my middle name is Blessing. Is that even a name? No. Wow the innovation of my parents. Like seriously Blessing. You know the meaning behind that? I'm supposed to be a blessing. Nah, i'll consider myself a sad depressed little girl. I shall wallow myself in sadness alone.

" Whoops Kat. Uhm. If we don't get going soon, we're gonna be late." Jade informed me, while texting on her phone. Trust that girl to be so cool about this grave matter. This totally concerns my pride. Man, i should just change that awful name, how irritating. " I CAME IN LIKE A WRECKING BALL" Shit. I was so caught up in my thoughts that i didn't even hear Jade blast and sing along to her all time favourite song, Wrecking ball by Miley Cyrus. Sure, the song was fine but Jade's singing was definitely not.

" Shilling. Mind zipping up?" I shot her my infamous glare as i turned to the parking lots of my school. I drove past the best parking lots of the school which were reserved for the seniors and drove down to the deserted parking lots. Just 10 more months of tolerating these lots, since i just started my junior year 2 months back.

I walked into the school building with Jade by my side and we headed to our lockers.Our lockers weren't very far apart and we almost had the same schedule too. "My darling Blessing!" A certain someone screamed in my poor ears. "Kayden Joey Taylor. I swear by the time i turn 17, i would be deaf." I hissed into kayden's ear. Kayden was my neighbour since young and over time, we grew closer together and eventually became friends with Jade as well.

As for Jade, our parents were friends even before we were born. Naturally, we became friends too, due to the many playdates our parents organised. In fact, according to our parents, if either of us was a male, we would be matchmaked. I quote, "A pair made in heaven". Thankfully, we were females. Imagine the look on our faces when we heard that.

"Oops soweeeee." Kayden showed me his puppy dog eyes, silently pleading that i wouldn't castrate him as promised. As usual, i couldn't resist his cuteness and gave in. Hence, instead of castrating him, a slap flew across his face. I grinned evilly at him as he scowled and rubbed his now swollen and red face.

"Now Kaykay, i'm already being extreeeemly nice." I smiled as i pointed to where the sun doesn't shine. "Remember you two aren't supposed to shout within 1 metre radius of me? Remember the consequences?" I kindly reminded them. " Yeah yeah, but i do know that if we don't get to class now, we would have to serve detention during lunch." Jade exclaimed, rushing off already. "Shit." We gathered our books and rushed off together.

The moment we stepped into homeroom, the bell rang, signalling the start of school. We heaved a sigh of relief, trust me, you DO NOT want to mess with Mrs Furt. She took our attendance of course without smiling. I swear the day that she finally smiles at us, pigs will fly. I glanced around the class and my eyes made contact with him. Chase Miller.

Chase smirked at me and winked. What was supposed to mean? Then again, he's probably flirting as usual. You can't expect the school's player to keep off his ways. Though there was one thing no one could deny. Chase Miller was hot. In fact, hottest in the school. Yes, even hotter than the seniors. He flirted with everyone, seniors and even freshman. God knows how many girls already slept with him.

I on the other hand, have not even been deflowered. No way am I going to lose my precious V-card to Chase Miller. Just gotta put up a really tough front and resist his charm. Chase probably wanted to get in my pants since i was one of the very few girls that have not slept with him.
