A/N: Let’s forget the part where Gojo asks Nanami for money, okay?

We were in the hall, getting ready, right here in the dorm. I slid into my light blue dress—it was stunning, definitely my style. Thanks to Shoto, of course. I had my sunglasses on. It goes well with my dress.

I strutted out of the changing room, feeling all kinds of confidence.

"Wow! You look amazing!" Ochako squealed, practically bouncing in place.

I grinned, flicking my hair dramatically. "Thanks, but let's be real, you all look like stars. Honestly, my life’s been pretty dull until now. You’ve all lit it up," I said, throwing a wink their way.

"Aki-chan!!!" Tsuyu, Momo, Mina, Hagakure, and Kyoka all shouted in unison, as if on cue. Their excitement was almost contagious.

Momo tilted her head, eyeing the dress critically. "Well… this looks a bit too expensive," she remarked, her voice hinting at concern. "How much did it cost?"

I flashed a mischievous smile. "1 million yen," I said casually, watching their jaws drop one by one.

"Seriously?" Mina gasped.

"Yeah!" I said slightly confused. Like I still had million in my account.

In the ball~

"It looks so beautiful," Tsuyu murmured, her eyes wide as she took in the decor.

"Just like a fairy tale," Teacup added, her voice filled with awe.

"It's like the party I went to last time in New York," someone else chimed in, but we all knew who it was.

"Who cares? Let's eat," I said, brushing off the commentary.

"I'm in!" Teacup and Hagakure agreed in unison, already making their way to the dessert table.

I followed their lead but immediately scanned the room for Keigo. I spotted him talking with Endeavor and Edgeshot near the corner. Our eyes met, and Keigo winked at me, giving me a quick nod to look elsewhere. I did as he suggested, my gaze landing on none other than Shoto, who was walking toward me with that characteristic poker face.

"You look beautiful," he said, his expression unreadable but his words sincere.

"Eh~ Thanks," I replied, trying to keep my cool, but his words were enough to make my heart flutter slightly.

There was a brief pause before he extended his hand toward me. "May I have this dance?"

My immediate instinct was to protest—there were so many sweets waiting for me—but before I could say anything, my hand moved almost automatically to meet his. A small, almost imperceptible smile tugged at the corner of Shoto's lips.

Without another word, he gently led me onto the dance floor. We moved in sync, the music weaving around us as we glided across the polished floor. A soft, pleasant silence hung between us, broken only by the quiet murmur of conversation and the faint rhythm of the music. I also saw Teacup asking Midoriya for a dance as he flushed. (You can imagine other ships as well.)

"You don't mind if I step on your feet, right?" I teased, grinning up at Shoto.

"I don't mind. You can if you want to. Be comfortable," he replied, his voice a little too serious for my liking.

"Ooo, you slay as a gentleman," I said, making exaggerated 'o' shapes with my lips.

"People will die if I become a gentleman?" he asked, looking horrified at the thought.

I couldn’t hold back my laughter. "Oh my Shoto! You're so innocent," I said, doubling over with amusement.

"Akira. It's not funny," he said, his brows furrowing in genuine confusion.
