Alex opened his eyes to find he could see underwater just like he could see normally above water. He looked around to find fish swimming around and the ruins. He swam to it and found an old altar. He did every step and said the phrase:
"Aquae meridiem, ad orientem septentrionem et occidentem vocat Oceans Neptunum Deum ! Sic fiat !"
Nothing happened for about a minute or so, then the water around him turned into a whirlpool. An old man materialized in front of Alex. He opened his sea blue eyes.
"Who dare summoned me!?" asked Poseidon.
"I-I did," responded Alex.
"What is it you need?" questioned Poseidon.
"I'm doing the Trials and I'm beginning with your task." replied Alex.
"Ah okay. Your first quest is to defeat my greatest warriors in battle. You must kill them. Don't worry they're illusions created by Hecate, the Goddess of Magic, so they can kill you, but they're not real so your basically battling water. But that's not important. Are you ready?" explained Poseidon folding his arms.
"Yes," responded Alex as Poseidon snapped and two cyclops materialized in armor and carrying bronze swords.
The first cyclops stepped up as Alex unsheathed his sword. The two battled until the cyclops cut Alex. He stumbled backwards and got back up. The cyclops looked confused as Alex stabbed him in the heart. He collapsed and exploded in bubbles.
The second cyclops looked around confused as Alex looking puzzled stabbed him. The cyclops exploded in bubbles as Poseidon clapped.
"Wow, no one has beaten my warriors in about a millennia. You are a great warrior." said Poseidon as he snapped and they teleported to the shore. "Here is the charm and the key to Hephaestus's forge." Poseidon dropped a small fish made of wood. Alex put it in his pocket. "Goodbye, and good luck." said Poseidon as he exploded in bubbles. The bubbles cleared and he was nowhere to be seen.
Alex walked to Otis. "I got the charm." said Alex holding it up.
"Good, but I am afraid that this is just the beginning." responded Otis...
