They were back in the potions room, Otis emptying the cauldron and filling it up with clean water.

"I have one question, when I was battling the cyclops, after a while, they couldn't even see me. What happened?" said Alex.

"I may have the Trial." said Otis. "Yes it may cause my death but at least you didn't die."

"Okay next Trial let me handle it, I need to do this myself." commanded Alex.

"Sorry, I'll let you do this on your own." responded Otis. He grabbed a cauldron of molten gold.
"I need you to get a carrot from your village." said Otis as he handed Alex a pearl. "When you obtained the pearl, throw the pearl on the ground and it'll teleport you here."

"But how do I get to my vil-" Alex was cut off by Otis snapping and Alex being teleported to the farm feeling dizzy. He looked around to find nobody and climbed over the fence and pulled out a carrot from the ground.

"Who's out there?" asked a silhouette of the farmer.

Alex quickly ran as an arrow struck the ground. He vanished behind a hill and quickly threw the pearl. Smoke engulfed Alex until it cleared and he was found in the potions room.

"Next time at least warn me before you teleport me somewhere." demanded Alex.

"Sorry I thought it was fun." snickered Otis.

"I didn't!" responded Alex handing him the carrot. Otis dipped the carrot in the gold and picked it up. He put it on his altar and chanted a spell in Latin. The room shook as the carrot gleamed.

"Eat this. It'll reveal the location of Hephaestus's Forge." said Otis handing Alex the carrot. Alex ate the carrot as he felt normal for a few seconds then his vision felt weird. He felt nauseous and collapsed.

"Alex!" shouted Otis running to pick him up. Alex shut his eyes as Otis made him sit down.

"Yeah, I'm fine." said Alex as he screamed and opened his eyes to reveal his irises turning dark yellow, almost demonic.

Alex realized he was having an astral projection. He was outside his body but he couldn't control it. He was being lead through the ground until he was atop the mountain. He went even further until he reached a tree that had a door camouflaged with the tree. It had a hole that almost looked naturally formed shaped like a keyhole.

In full speed, his spirit returned to his body and his eyes turned back to normal.

"Alex?" called Otis.

"I know where the forge is." responded Alex...

The two arrived on the mountain as Alex stopped.

"This time will you let me do this alone?" asked Alex.

"Yes," responded Otis as Alex inserted the key and twisted it. The door opened up to a portal as Alex entered. He found himself in an old forge. He pulled out the items from his pocket Otis gave him and started the ritual.

"Machinis omnibus sparsim temporis Ignis Dei vocat ! Sic fiat !" chanted Alex as the lava burst like a fountain until it cleared to reveal a man with oil stains all over him.

"Are you one of my creations?" asked Hephaestus.

"No, I'm here for the Trials." responded Alex.

"Well, your quest is to construct a rocket."

"What!? How do I do that!? I'm no mechanic!"

"If you concentrate hard enough, you'll find it easy to do so."

"Alright," responded Alex as he grabbed the tools on the workbench. He grabbed pieces of metal and got to work. He dug deep in his mind and finally constructed it. Wow that was easy! Thought Alex as he looked at Hephaestus who nodded his head for approval. Alex handed Hephaestus the rocket as he shook his head and snapped. The rocket turned small.

"Keep it, you'll need it for a future Trial, that's if you survive Zeus's Trial." Hephaestus said as Alex put it in his pocket.

"I feel like you'll do good in the Trials. I wish you luck young one." said Hephaestus as he handed Alex the charm and shoes with wings attached to them and snapped and exploded in flames.

Alex exited through the portal only to find Otis not there.

"Otis!" Alex called as Otis teleported behind him.

"Boo!" said Otis as Alex screamed.

"Never do that again!" commanded Alex as Otis chuckled.

"I see you've obtained Hermes's shoes." said Otis as he observed the shoes. "Go ahead, put them on."

Alex took off his shoes and put on Hermes's shoes.

"Let's soar through the clouds." said Otis...
