Abhi's eyes fluttered open as a cold splash of water hit his face. He gasped, disoriented, and found himself in a dimly lit dungeon. The rusty iron walls were damp and chipped in several places, and the air was thick with the smell of bat urine. The only light came from a flickering torch mounted on the wall. As he struggled to sit up, he realized his hands were bound tight with unyielding iron chains. The figure who had splashed him stood over him, his face obscured by shadows. Abhi's heart raced as he tried to make sense of his surroundings and the peril he was in.
"Abhimaan Raina, or Rajwanshi is it?" A cold deep voice rang in the prison.
Abhi had to strain his eyes to look at the man standing at a distance. The dim light made it almost impossible for him to see. The man who splashed water on his face grabbed his arms and forced him to kneel. That is when Abhi caught a look at the monster's face. A silent gasp escaped his lips. He was reliving his worst nightmare. It could not be true. It was a dream, he tried to assure himself. Soon his Bhaiyu would wake him up, soon he would feel the comfort of his Big-B's arms. The monster was not real, he was not real.
The harsh blow that landed on his cheeks brought him back to reality. It was really happening. The monster was there, it was no nightmare.
"Where are you manners boy, is that how you look at your Master?"
