" sky wake up. Uncle is here. He said you need to attend to a meeting "

"Thank you Jay tell him I'll be out in a few. I need to get ready. "

"Ok. " Jared says and walks out and I run to my room to get ready.

--20 minutes later --

I'm all dressed. Red T-shirt. Black pants with a chain on them and red with black converse with my red bandana hanging out my pocket. I walk out of my room and walk towards the kitchen to find my mom and my uncle speaking. My mom crying and my uncle hugging her.

" mom. Uncle."

"Oh sky. Please don't do this." My mom begs once again

" mom I have to. I'm sorry. I am the one that was supposed to take over either way. Might as well start now."

"Please. "

" Rebecca. Please. She has to do this. Its her duty now. I'm sorry my brother is gone but you can't keep asking Skylar to give up on what her father created. "

" Antonio this is my daughter and if I'm scared of her doing this it's because my husband is gone! What if she gets hurt too!?"

" I would never let her get hurt. Don't worry " he hold her as she cries .

" alright alright. Go. You have.that meeting but please please be careful."

"We Will " we both answer and walk out to the car.

" so where is it? "

"About 3hour drive but we're taking the jet. "

"Alright."

About 10 minutes later we're getting close to where we get on the jet my father owns. And it was so nice. It was white and gold. Our last name right in the side in big red letters outlined with black...we finally get on the jet. Me still being tired I fall asleep only to be awakened by Antonio my uncle.

" Lets go skylar. Remember something. Never call me uncle in meetings. Call me Antonio. Thats how I'm known. People know I'm your uncle yes. But this is strictly business."

"Don't worry uncle I got it."

"Alright let's go "

We get out and walk towards a door leading us to 2 big men.

" come in" the guys open the door and let us inside one leading us to another door where I'm guessing is the leader of this cartel

" who is this? Is this a joke Antonio? Thats a little girl! Where's Williams!?"

"If you didn't know. He's dead. And this is his daughter the new jefa so show some respect! Or we become rivals and ur whole crew dies!"

" no Antonio let me handle this. Who do you think you are? You think that raising your voice will scare me in any type of way? Or maybe Antonio will be frightened? Cuz what I see here is a guy that needs my help and your about to not get any. Except for a bullet to the head."

" Antonio give him the paperwork. Sign it and we have a deal. For 5 years. Then ur cut off. You gotta renew the peace treaty with us. And we'll see what happens after that.you'll pay the 50 every 4 months. I'm being nice. Don't take advantage of it."

"Alright sign this. " Antonio handed him the stack of papers

" that basically says we will help when u need it. My men will guard ur place. They will be armed. They'll jump in at any time when your cartel needs help blah blah blah but thing is. If my men die because your cartel can't respect their decision during battle and or dont fight along with them during battle. You will all die. And a serious amount of blood will be shed. Understand me? Respect us and we'll respect you. I'm doing this because of my father. Cuz honestly. I was going to cut off helping anyone. But I changed my mind."

"I understand. " he signs the papers and hands them over.

" it was good making business with you Mr......"Santiago." A yes Mr.Santiago " I shake his hand and smile.

"Good to know. Lets go Antonio. "

My uncle and I head back home in the jet.

" you did good. That was your first meeting and you made him shake"

"Haha I guess I'm a lot like my uncle and my father in that way."

"You sure are. And i couldn't be more proud of you skylar. " he kisses my forehead and let's me sleep in his arms until we get home.
