Chapter 10: A Call to an Old Friend

~Nonon~

I paced around my room, still wearing Hoka's jacket.

"Am I falling for him? No, no I can't be! I mean look at him! He's all nerdy with his laptop, data collection, or whatever you call it!" I yelled to myself, throwing my hands into the air. "Then again.....Hoka did save me from the Tri-City Schools Raid Trip.....I didn't need his help! I could have handle it myself! Then again....."

I paced around some more, thinking about all the things Hoka did in the past. Yes, he did save me from complete failure, during the Tri-City Schools Raid Trip. But it's not like I asked him to. He just showed up as a stupid hologram! But.....If he wasn't watching me, I would have failed Satsuki....AGAIN!

"URG! THIS IS HOPELESS!" I screamed at my room and collapsed onto the bed.

I stared at the ceiling THAT had to be blue.

"Blue....WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE BLUE AROUND HIM?!"

Frustrated I grabbed a pillow and threw it at the door.

"Hey Nonon.....I heard you yelling. Are you-

BAM! The pillow just so happened to slam into a certain blue hair boy.

"H-H-H-H-Hoka! I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean to hit you! I was aiming at the door! A-A-And you appeared and-

"I'm guessing you need some more alone time...."

With that statement, Hoka turned around and closed the door, cutting me off from the rest of the world. I groaned and laid back onto the bed.

"I am a terrible person....Where is someone when you need to talk to them.....? Wait a minute......"

I suddenly sat up.

"Satsuki!"

I grabbed my pink (Thank goodness......) phone and quickly called Satsuki.

"Hello?" I heard a feminine voice say.

"Satsuki, it's Nonon!"

I heard a soft clink in the background. My guess is that she was just having some tea.

"Nonon, is something wrong? You never call me."

"Actually....."

I hesitated for a moment. Should I tell her....? What am I thinking?! It's Satsuki!

"Yes.....Something is wrong....And I need to talk to you about it."

I pulled my knees  to my chest, as I told her everything that had happened.

"I'm sorry about that, Nonon......But it explains Ryuko's temper when she came home last night," Satsuki answered.

I stared at the covers of my bed, which where pink with white skulls on them.

"Satsuki.......There's more."

"Hm?"

"After I ran off.....Hoka came looking for me.....And things led to another.....What I'm trying to say is....Hoka kissed me."

There was a long silence.

"Satsuki?"

"I'll be there in an hour."

And with that she hung up.
