"N/n, I made your favourite."

I look up with a small smile, sitting up from bed.

"Thank you Keiji." I take the plate of fried rice from him.

"You feel any better?" He asks, stroking my forehead to feel my temperature.

"A little." I say. "The fever's gone down a little."

"Okay. Get some rest alright?" He kisses my temple. "I'll be home in a while."

I eat my lunch before grabbing my ipad and starting to work on the newest commision. I'm glad both of us work from home, for thr most part, so it's really easy when one of us gets sick. Though I did have to cancel all my meetings for the day (a total of 2).

A little more than an hour later Keiji comes back.

"I bought your favourite snacks." He says, pushing the door open with his side,

I gasp, I think my eyes would've actually turned into stars if I was in a cartoon. "Are those-"

"Yup. I bought extra and put them in the cabinet, since we can never find them." He grinned. (a/n: He went to five different stores looking for these)

"Yayy!" I cheer.

Keiji drops the snacks on the bed, then hands me a carton of strawberry milk as I lunge for my beloved chips.

Maybe this being sick thing isn't so so bad.
