"Abby! UP! We're at the beach house!!" Mom yelled to me behind the seat, taking my pink pillow from under my head.
"Im UP mom! No need to yell!" I yelled back at her. After rubbing my eyes, I looked out my window and unbuckled my seat belt. I opened my door and admired our beach house; its my favorite place in the world to be. It isn't much, just a two story, light brown colored house, but it was beautiful. My older brother waved at me from the top window, since we were supposed to be decorating our rooms. I grabbed all my bags, and ran the the glass door knob. Mom opened the door, and I stepped past the marble kitchen and headed to my room up stairs.
My room has the best view in the house; right in front of the beach. I threw my bags down on my blue carpet, and fell on my bright green mattress. My beach house room resembled my room back home, except the colors of the furniture were either green, purple, or pink. I look out the window to scope out the guys, and noticed the beach was crowded.
"Roarrrrrrrr! Im gonna eat you!!" My brother yelled as he ran into my room, but instead of tackling me, he tripped over my bags.
"Nice going, Mr. Smooth!" I teased my brother as he got up from the floor,
"Oh, shut it! Get over here and give your big bro a hug!" He said, smiling. I haven't seen him in a while, since he's been busy with college and his girlfriend. Speaking of girlfriend, she was already on the beach.
After I was choked in a bear hug, my brother suggested that we go down to the beach to "tan". So once he walked out the door, I locked it and went to look for my bathing suit. I decided on my black and pink striped sailor bikini, and I quickly put it on. I took my hair down that I had put up in a pony tail, and I sprayed my "Beach Waves" hair spray in my hair to give a wave to it.
"Abby! Get down here! We're going to the beach!" Mom yelled to me. I grabbed my white sunglasses and flew down the stairs.

The sand felt smooth between my toes. As we walked along the beach looking for my brother's girlfriend, I was shocked at the amount of guys currently on the beach. It seemed like the ACTLEAST 4/5s of the beach visitors were teenage males; and that's a pretty large number for this beach. Once we found my brother's girlfriend, mom decided to let me go roam the beach.
"OUT of the way!" a tall girl yelled as she pushed me down. Her bright red hair was shining in the sun.
"Watch where you're going!" I yelled right back at her, after brushing the sand off of me. These were the people I usually try to avoid; the rude, mean newcomers.
"Are you alright, miss?" a kind voice called from right above me,"Here, let me help you up."
When I looked up, I noticed the teen who was standing in front of me. He was towering me; he was probably six foot four. His light brown hair was slightly wet; as was his toned body and blue swimming trunks. His eyes looked grey, but when he pulled me up, they looked more green.
"Uhhh..." I muttered. I wasn't sure what I felt, but it was something strange. It was like my heart fluttered when he looked me in the eyes, and when he spoke I felt weak.
"I hope you're alright. My name's Joel. I'm at the beach a lot, so if you need me I'm sure I'll see you around." He said, speaking kind of soft.
"Sure..." I said, and I bolted. I don't know why I did, but I RAN. I ran all the way across the beach, and up the stairs to my room. When I got there, I collapsed on my bed. What's wrong with me? Why am I like this? Joel. He said his name is Joel. I have to forget about him; I don't like the way he's making me feel.
