"When I said I wanted to go ice skating I didn't think you'd actually take me."

"Why wouldn't I?"

I stare at Keiji for a couple seconds.

"Because I said it on a whim and it was obviously a joke." I deadpan.

"Yeah but I didn't take it as one." He shrugs, taking my hand.

"I can't tell if that's a good thing or not." I wrinkle my nose, letting him lead me further out onto the ice.

"Count it as a good thing." He tells me.

"Welllllll."

We skate around and generally be public hazards (since neither of us know how to ice skate), while laughing like we're high crackheads. I think by the time we took a break I'd gained about five bruises and lost about four brain cells from clinking around the rink like a ragdoll. Keiji laughed at me but it's not like he faired much better.

"I feel like we should've gotten better at this by now." I say, taking a sip of water.

"Better my ass." Keiji snorts. "We've argubally gotten worse."

"Okay that's fair." I laugh. "But it has to get easier at some point right?" I say enthusiastically.

"Love I'm gonna hold your hand while I say this, it is not gonna get better." He says seriously. "We're going to fall over at least four more times before we get out of here."

"Do we have that bruise medicine at home?" I ask.

"Let's go get some later." He laughs.

Well Keiji was right, we did in fact fall four (eight) more times, but the ramen we had after was fire so I count that as a win.

im actually pretty decent at ice skating (i havent ice skated in a good two years)

sry for the late post again i was at a wedding ystd and had no time to write anything (yes i write and post on the same day usually no i dont proof read yes thats why thwre are so many typos)
