I arrived at Starbucks down the street from my tattoo parlor at 11:10. I stopped in front of the door and collected myself, praying I wouldn't fangirl. I opened the door and took a wiff of the coffee aroma.

"Hey Emerson!" I heard someone call. I looked to the left and saw Alan standing with Austin, Phil, Aaron and TIno sitting at a table. They all smiled in my direction and motioned me to their spot. I grinned and sat in the empty chair beside Alan.

"Woo girl! Your ink is sick!" Tino said, admiring my arms. I blushed slightly.

"Th-Thanks Tino. I designed them myself." My voice was soft and I suddenly felt very shy.

"Austin was telling us about how you're quite the artist." Aaron spoke up, then took a sip of his drink. I grinned and sat up a little straighter.

"I'm glad you went home and talked about me!" I said which earned me a few laughs. Alan sat a drink in front of me, to be honest I didn't know he was gone. "Thank you dear." I said smiling up at him. His cheeks flushed a little and he smiled. Pulling out his chair he motioned to my bag that I brought with me.

"Shall we see what you've brought us?" He said like a child on Christmas. I giggled and pulled out a sketch book full of designs. I flipped through a few pages quickly trying not to let them see anything.

"WHAT WAS THAT!" Phil jumped up from beside me. He snatched the book from my hands and flipped back a couple pages, landing on a portrait I had done a few days ago...of them. I blushed a deep crimson and hid behind my black hair. "Emma..can I call you that? Oh well, anyway. This is amazing.

"No it isn't. It's a sketch and it's not done." I groaned and tried to grab my book. Phil smirked and handed the book to Austin. He looked at the picture before handing it off to the rest of the boys. "Guys! Just give it back!" I said. Alan chuckled and patted my hand before handing my the sketch book. I smiled sweetly at him and continued flipping to the designs I made last night.

"Oooh! I like that one!" Alan said pointing to a design with a sword a sheild with a crest that said "Of Mice & Men" in midevil script. I tore out a few pages of designs and passed them around.

"I can draw out some more if you have any other ideas..." I said, reaching into my bag about to pull out some supplies.

"Where the hell did you learn to draw like this?!" Alan said looking at my designs.

"At art school Alan!" Austin said. I giggled at the face Alan gave him.

We talked about designs for about an hour and ended up goofing off. I told them about my job, my roommate and about art school. I finished my coffee and couldn't stop laughing at the tour stories they were telling me. I glanced at my phone and saw I had three missed calls and four messages from Lanie.

"Oh my god. I have to go! Lanie needs me to get food. I'll see you around okay?" I said standing. Alan walked me to the door and held it open for me.

"Thanks for coming today Em." Alan smiled at me. He looked so sweet and childish and I felt the urge to kiss him, but of course I'm not that bold.

"I had fun. Maybe we can do it again." I said with a grin. A lopsided smile formed on his face.

"It's a date." He said, leaning towards me and pecking my cheek. He grinned and went back through the door.

The whole way home I felt my face all hot and I couldn't help but have a goofy grin on my face. Okay, so maybe I am a fangirl....but ALAN KISSED ME!!!!!
