Chapter - 24
____________

Exel

I walked back to the bench where I was yesterday morning.

At first, I was confused, then revolted, and then convinced that I had left my sketch note around that area, I walked in front of the bench, kneeling down and looking at the grass beneath.

No.

I can't loose it.

I was frustated after walking and wilding the place pretty too much. But I didn't care. I just care to have it back.

I checked everywhere, in my dorm, classroom, bag and even went to the last evening Elites wing sneakily in the dawn.

I cussed and tried to flip the bench but it was attached to the ground. I kicked the bench and sat back. After thinking this much, I couldn't be leaving any spot. Do I?

The music started to play behind me, it was coming from the hallways and building.

The classes are going to start soon.

I looked at the tree where I had seen the dead bird yesterday.

I walked towards it, looking at the crow who followed me as he flew on the sky. His eyes on the bird as his voice traveled over the air.

I reached the tree and watched the hard and cold bird with opened mouth laid down on the grass. It was yet to be in the state of decaying.

I stared at it for some seconds.

I planned to skip the second class. I wasn't feeling going there but again, I remembered who is there.

I had to be there. Even if classes hardly makes  sense.

I walked inside and everyone's eyes followed me, the talk suddenly quietened as they watched me walking to my place. I didn't like the attention on me.

I ignored them and sat on my seat behind, placing the dead bird on the desk and opened  my bag to put it there.

The classroom got quieter.

"Did you just took the dead bird to the classroom?" One of the boy scoffed and stood up, nobody stopped him.

Aaron Dickinson, that boy's name, I remembered him from yesterday. He made a fudge after the Co-leader announcement happened backstage.

He was a d*ck just like his name had suggested.

"Hey, I am talking to you, weirdo" He threw the pencil at my face. It almost poked my eye making me blind but he missed it. I knew he wasn't good with target so I let him do it, just to see how bad it can go.

Someone gasped and pulled his sleeves to stop him. He looked at the student and shrugged his hold wildly.

"I hate rotten things to be around me, I can't stand it," He shrunk his nose and his long front hair popped his eyes as he winced and closed it immidiately.

He sleeked his brown hair backward and some strands went to his side frame again. His hair need a haircut as soon as possible. He looked feral. Also with tongue piercing as he spat and glared at me.

"Aaron, it's his problem not ours-" Zaki Ishikawa, that Japanese elite, tried to smoothen his alliance conflict but it wasn't going to get peaceful.

I just wanted to be alone, why everyone wants to keep giving me hard time?

"Throw that bird out of the window or I will," He furiously walked towards me. I didn't move out of my place.

My fist curled when he leaned to get my bag.
