When Cameron wakes up the next morning he has a smile on his face. There are no guards to rudely wake him up or inmates hollering and making ruckus because they don't want to wake up. It's blissfully quiet, he doesn't have prison clothes, his bed is comfortable.

When he opens his eyes he frowns because Nash is not in the room. He sits up and rubs his face, waking up fully rested feels good but it would have felt better to wake up in the arms of his beautiful angel. He's not sure why but he's already attaches to the soft spoken angel.

He stands and grabs the things he needs for his shower. When he arrives to the bathroom there's no one there and he picks a shower stall. The shower is deliciously hot, it would never get that hot in the prison. It was a communal shower so everyone was in full view of each other. That was something that he had to get used to quickly. There's no room for shyness.

He walks back to his room when he's done and when he opens the door he sees Nash sitting on the bed. He gives him a happy smile.

"You're back..." Cameron states but he trails of unsure if he should ask where Nash went.

"I meant to come back before you woke up but I got tied up," Nash explains and Cameron wants to know more but he doesn't feel brave enough to question him. Nash is a mystery to him.

Cameron licks his lips as he trails his eyes up and down Nash's body, he knows that it's probably every type of wrong but he is so attracted to his angel. He is a beautiful man, there's no doubt about it. Cameron approaches him and sits next to him in bed.

He has a question that's been running through his head all morning and Nash looks at him with a small smile on his face.

"Yes, he's in hell." Nash informs Cameron quietly and Cameron nods, he feels triumphant at the fact that John is suffering for all of the pain he put Cameron and his mother through.

"Where did you go?" Cameron asks softly and Nash looks away, he doesn't know how to answer that question just yet.

He points upwards to the sky and Cameron nods as he understands what Nash is telling him.

There's an awkward silence because although Nash is his angel, he's still someone that Cameron doesn't know much about, all of the years in prison have made his social skills rusty especially considering the fact that he kept to himself mostly.

"Did you... ever have to intervene for me while I was in jail?" Cameron asks after he gathers some courage.

"Maybe," Nash answers vaguely and Cameron glances at Nash, he has that secretive smile one his face and Cameron would love to figure out what's going through his head.

Nash knows he intervened way too much on behalf of Cameron, he would stop him from meeting people who would eventually harm him or send him down a path that puts him in harm's way. Nash knows that if he were still following rules that Cameron would absolutely still be in prison because of the fights he would have gotten in to trying to defend himself. He made sure the years before he was up for parole were quiet ones for Cameron because he felt that Cameron had already had a shitty life, he deserved to be free.

"I'll take that as a yes," Cameron says with a small smile on his face, he wants to ask specifics but he's sure that Nash would just continue to answer vaguely.

"So, there's a job at a local hospital that has your name on it," Nash hints at Cameron and Cameron looks at him, he tilts his head and smiles softly at Nash.

"Oh, is there?" Cameron asks and Nash gives him a wide smile as he nods.

"Mmhm, it's literally saying ' Cameron Dallas, apply for me'." Nash says and Cameron laughs quietly because Nash is so adorable. His beautiful blue eyes continue to sparkle like diamonds and his smile sends nervous flutters through his heart, it's infectious and makes Cameron want to smile back.
