I woke up the next day to a beautiful Saturday morning.
Each day it got sunnier and warmer outside. This morning it was 75 degrees out.
I could finally start wearing shorts again. I put on some cute ripped shorts and a black crop top with fringe.
"Good morning sweetie." My mom said as I came down the steps.
"Hey mom, I'm going to Starbucks later." I told her.
"Sure honey but who's picking you up?"
"I'll be going with Sabrina and a few friends." I answered.
Sabrina and I had plans to go to Starbucks with a few friends at 11am today.
I thought it would be a great opportunity to make some new friends and open up a little more.
*Beep Beep* The car went outside my house.
"Gotta run." I grabbed my bag and flew out the door.
When we got to Starbucks I took a seat and scrolled down my timeline on Instagram.
I saw Sabrina run toward a bunch of other kids.
They were all chatting so I went to take my order.
I ordered a double chocolaty chip latte and a sandwich.
I felt kinda left out since Sabrina was talking with her little clique.
I was just sipping my latte when all of a sudden this boy walked up to me.
I tried to be as chill as possible, even though I was trembling inside.
"Hey, is it Ashley?" He asked.
"Yea I'm Ashley."
"I'm Khayman. You should come sit with me."
I didn't know how to react.
"Oh okay, sure." I said.
I was really nervous mainly because he was kinda cute. He had that great pushed back dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and a great body.
He was really attractive but I still really like Jacob Hill.
What the heck I thought. I mean it's not like I've ever even talked to Jacob. Plus, Khayman came up to me first.
I sat near to Khayman in a booth seat. At first it was kinda awkward but before I knew it, we were chit chatting away.
He's actually a really nice guy. He was kind, generous, and really funny. Let's not forget he was pretty hot (;
I'd have to say we hit it off. I even gave him my number and my snapchat.
I looked at the time on my phone and it read 2:45. Not long after I got messages from my mom.
"I better go my mom was expecting me an hour ago." I told Khayman with a look of disappointment.
"Oh. Let me take you out to the car." He said.
He was such a gentlemen.
