Chapter 8: Chaos

" Joon!! I don't like him.. stop saying stuff!" I yelled as my face turned red.

Jungkook laughed at me as he tried to hide his face.

"Shut up!!" I said angrily pulling Joonie from the toy store. " Wait!" Jungkook yelled " He forgot his toy bag!!!"

"Thank you hyung.." Joon said cutely

I was surprised by the words that came out of Joon's mouth and how close they had gotten in the short period of time.

"Hyung?" I asked as I thought they hadn't heard me.

"Well I would call him brother-in-law but there's no progress here between you two!!" Joon said crossing his arms.

Before he could say something else I quickly covered his mouth and waved good bye.

"_____ don't forget we have to meet up in a couple of hours..!" Jungkook yelled and waved

I let my hand go from Joon's mouth. "OMO!!! Noona!! You're going on a date with Jungkook!"

"Shut Up Joon!! We're just meeting up!" I said as I held his hand. "Now tell me.. why did you get away from Seunji in the first place?"

"What do you mean? I didn't get away from her.. she told me to go with Jungkook while she went to go do something and she didn't come back quickly so Jungkook hyung bought me some toys!" Joon said happily as the little eyes of his lit up.

"Wait.. what?" So much anger started to build up inside but why had Seunji lie about Joon missing.

"Why did you think I had gotten away from Seunji?" he asked in confusion

"No reason" I smiled. He shrugged his shoulders and happily looked inside his toy bag admiring his new toys.

I really questioned Seunji and her reasons for lying but I tried not to build up anger before I lost it in front of Joon. As he saw the house he smiled and looked up at me. " I'll race you to the door!" as he took off running inside. I ran after him picking him up and throwing him up in the air.
He laughed and smile and we walked inside. "Oh my goodness!! Joonie!!! You're okay!!" "Yea.. I'm fine" he smiled. Seunji looked at Joon in surprise as our eyes met she ran up to her room. I followed behind as she looked back she made an attempt to shut the door on me. I obviously won and pushed the door open closing it behind me.

"What do you want?" she asked disgustedly

"Not anything in particular... Just want to know why you lied about Joon being kidnapped!" " What are you talking about!?! I lost Joon.." she said avoiding eye contact.

"Right.. you lost Joon as he told me that you told him to go with Jungkook and then never showed up for him."

"That's not true! That little stupid terd ran away from me!"

Anger built up as I lost and grabbed Seunji's arm squeezing it. She looked at me in surprise.

"Yo- you're hurting me.."

"You will never talk about Joon that way! I swear If you do.. I will forget about the fact that you're my family.."

She murmured under her breath.

"What.. what did you say?" I asked in confusion "What if you weren't my family.." she smiled "Why are you like this? We were close!" I asked remembering past memories.

"Yea.. were now if you're done abusing me can you leave my room!" she yelled

I pushed her on the bed and walked out shutting the door.
