"Violet get up! It's your first day of senior year!" My mother yelled from downstairs.
I rolled around for a little bit, then I decided I should probably get up or else I would be late to school and also stuck walking there.
I went to my closet and got out a maroon cotton short sleeve and some white jean shorts and a silk colored long sleeve knit cardigan. Then I curled my hair into loose waves and put my makeup on, maybe trying for my first day wasn't a bad idea. I did have to make an impression since it's my last year in high school.
I grabbed my black and white vans from beside my bed and threw them on and I was out the door.

When I got to school, people were scattered all over the place. Everyone was either really quite and whispering to each other or yelling at each other from across the other side of the room.
"Typical high schoolers." I sighed to myself.
I looked left and right for my two best friends, Loren and Sydney.
All of the sudden I heard my named being, well you could say screeched, so I turned around and there they were.
"Violet! Hey, have you heard?" Asked Loren.
What is there to hear already? I mean it's only 7:56 a.m. on the first day of school. There can't be much to talk about this early.
"No, what's going on?" I asked, curious myself of what was happening.
"There is a new boy. A bad boy so to say. I hear he is super cute! I can't wait to see him, oh my gosh." And that was Loren for you, always so intrigued by the slightest thought of a boy.
"Why are you so excited already? You don't even know if this guy is cute or not yet so what's the big deal?" I asked, obviously confused on why she was so excited already.
"Um, excuse me, but when have we not been excited about new boys." Now it was time for Sydney to speak up, sounding quite offended I might add, as if I should have known that fact.
"Alright, sorry sorry. My bad. All I'm saying is don't get your hopes up. He could also be a she for all we know yet. Don't put too much into this one, is all I'm saying." I defended.
It was now 8:05, and time to head to my first subject of the day.
I looked at my schedule and saw that I had Maths first hour.
This day just keeps getting better and better.
