Vi's POV

Flashback (before she went to see Jayce for the 1st time)

I sit at the bar of The Last Drop with Reza and Grant for a bit before I go see the Talis boy. Reza sits next to me while Grant sits next to her, saving a chair for Y/n. "We don't need them" Reza put her hand on mine and caresses my bruised knuckles with her thumb. I couldn't stop thinking about the Council meeting yesterday and Reza seemed to notice that. I turn to her and smile "They're right" I motion to Grant with my head, and she knows I'm also talking about Y/n "It's obvious we both have feelings for each other" I shrug, putting my hand on her thigh and she grins "if it's obvious why haven't you done anything about it?" Reza got up from her chair and straddled my lap, putting her hands on the sides of my neck "because you already are" I grin back and she pulls my neck, our lips attaching into a warm kiss. I hear Grant clapping behind us, and I chuckle against the kiss, but I don't break it. I slip my tongue into Reza's mouth, and she lets out a gasp before doing the same. I pull away reluctantly and breath heavily, looking up into her eyes "will you be my girlfriend?" I blurt out and Grant practically shakes in his seat waiting for Reza's answer "you bet your ass I will" she pulls me into another kiss, my heart fluttering with love and lust.

Y/n's POV

--

Ever since we showed up to the Council meeting, Cait and Vi have been acting different. Vi looks like she wants to tell me something and Caitlyn looks like she wants just plain revenge. Every time I try to talk to her, she ends the conversation quickly saying she has to prepare for the raid at our old hide-out in an hour. Vi told her about it and didn't even ask me first. They are hiding something and I'm going to find out what it is. I walk past a door and see and what it seems like a naked metal man talking to Jayce and I just furrow my eyebrows and walk past quickly. That is an image I won't be able to get out my head for a while. I walk to a spare room that the Council offered me to stay in until the attacks are over. I might go to The Last Drop before the raid to see Grant and Reza for a bit. I walk into my room and take my new sword out of its sheath, laying on the bed and admiring it. I spin it and press the button on the handle, electricity surrounding the blade. I let go of the button and it stops. I wonder what would happen if I just pressed the button without holding it. I shrug and press the button quickly. A loud blast is heard, and dust pollutes the air. I cough and wave the dust away, getting off from my bed. When the dust finally settles, I see a massive hole in the wall that leads to the empty room in front of me. I put my sword in its sheath and quickly walk out the room, once in the hall I start running. I run out of the building and catch my breath before walking towards the bridge. I see Enforcers walking towards the building and I pull my suits hood up, making it safely to the bridge and crossing it.

I make it to The Last Drop, and I see Grant and Reza sitting at a booth in the corner. I walk up to them and sit next to Grant "hey..." I said nervously and they both look at me "came to run off again?" Grant huffed and shook his head "Grant look I'm sorry. I got into a fight, and I just wanted space. But I shouldn't have yelled at you. You didn't deserve that" I apologized, and Grant turned to me, a smile on his face. I furrow my eyebrows, and he put his hand on my shoulder "I'm just kidding, I know you needed space. I hope you got the time you needed" he pat my shoulder, and I smile, shaking my head. "Where's Vi?" Reza spoke up and I turned to her "she stayed in Piltover, helping with clean-up" I replied "she wasn't hurt... was she?" Reza had a worried expression, and I grin "your girlfriend is fine. But she probably had a head injury because her jokes are shit" I sigh, shaking my head and Reza lets out a sigh of relief "I have to get back. I'll try to be back as soon as I can" I smile and get up from the booth "stay safe kid" Grant said and Reza nods "you and Vi. Tell her I love her" she adds, and I nod, walking out of the pub.
