Talented Huh?

Graduation Day (Chapter One)

So this is it... The last day before I finally get ready to go off to the high school of my dreams... Infinite Talent High. I was surprised that I actually passed my acting audition. I wonder what it'll be like going to a school with talented people. I look to my left and see my boyfriend not really paying attention at all on what's going on onstage. What's going to happen to us? Was it really meant to be? Or is my mother right when she said that I am just too young for love? I look over to my right and see my best friends McKenna and Nicole smiling at each other.. Will they forget about me eventually? Hmm. I guess I wouldn't know until I find out huh?

"Peggy Williams," the principle announces on the microphone. I jump out from my seat loudly and start to carefully walk over to the stage without tripping on my new pair of wedges my mother and I bought.. Even though I was just fine with just wearing my converse to this stupid event! Why is my heart beating so fast? It's just a piece of paper Peggy! I carefully march up the stairs while holding onto the railing tightly.

Please don't fall! Please don't fall!!
I finally make it up the stairs and grab my diploma from Mrs. Beanwalb. "Congratulations!" She says. "Thank you.." I said with my head down. "YEA GO PEGGY!!! WHOOO!!" Someone in the audience yelled. Once I recognized that voice I dropped my head even lower...

Oh mom!!

People in the audience started to laugh and snicker so I start to quickly walk off stage and back to my seat.
That was so embarrassing!
I hope I'm not like this in my new school!

~First Day of School

I started to run towards the building as fast as I can. Stupid train! How can I be late on my first day?! REALLY PEGGY?! You had one job!
And like a porn star... You blew it!

I finally walk inside the building. There is a staircase and an elevator on my left and a security guard staring right at me from her desk. Well this isn't awkward at all...
"Freshman?" She says, eyeing me up and down. "Uh... Yea" I said looking down at my feet. Gosh. "Take the elevator" she said without making eye contact with me and went back to her phone which seemed way more important than me.
I walked over to the elevator and was about to press the button when I saw a sign on top of it.
~only push the button ONCE. If there is someone already waiting for the elevator when you arrive than, chances are that they already pressed the button. Thank you

Well.. There goes my habit of rapidly pressing elevator buttons...
So I pressed the elevator button "ONCE", and wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. Come on now, I'm already late as it is!!
Finally the elevator doors open and I see a guy who looked like he was in his early 30s dressed in a red and white plaid shirt and blue shorts looking at me through his thick glasses. I walk in and the elevator doors close.
"Freshman?" He asked. Well damn is it that obvious?? "Yes" I said looking down at my feet again. He pulls on a lever and the elevator starts to go up.. That's weird... So he works on the elevator? Weird. "Your a freshman, why are you late on your first day?" He asks. Geez! I feel bad as it is! Things happen dude! In all honesty... The donut was worth it. But before I could answer, the elevator doors open and I quickly walk out of the elevator. Is everyone here really that judgmental?

Let me see if I remember the room number.. 121... I start looking up at each door for the correct number while walking down the hallway. Oh here it is! I stop in front of the big brown door in front of me. All of a sudden my heart starts to beat really fast and I could already feel my palms sweating. Omigosh! I'm so scared. Once I open that door.. I'm officially a freshman of Infinite Talent High! What if everyone stares at me and started to laugh or something?! I look down at my outfit. I'm wearing light blue high waisted jeans, red convers and a grey and red marvel t shirt. Oh god I could've dressed better! Okay come on Peggy you got this.. I put my sweaty hand on the knob and slowly turn it.. And open the door.

Annnnddd... Everyone is staring great. The classroom is packed with students. I look to my right and find the teacher staring at me as well. He's actually pretty short and has light brown hair... Hmm not bad.
"Your late" he announces. Well duh no shit Sherlock... I look down at my feet again. "What's your name?" He asks. I look back up at him. "Peggy Williams" I said proudly but I instantly regretted it. What made my name so special? He started to look through his papers. "Williams...Williams...Williams... Williams with a W right?" I rolled my eyes and some students started to laugh. "Yes" I said. "Yea I don't have you here. Go upstairs to the 6th floor and go to the guidance counselor to figure out where your supposed to be" he instructed. "Okay" Is all I could manage before I closed the door.

As I started to go up the stairs, a lot was going through my head. What just happened? Why am I not on his list? I'm sure the paper at home said 121! Was there a typo? Did someone better take my place? What's going on??

I deserve an explanation! I stepped inside the office and saw a beautiful black woman sitting at a desk. I marched right up to her. "Hello" she beamed at me. "Hi my name is Peggy Williams" I responded. I then told her about what happened at my assigned homeroom this morning. "It's probably nothing! Maybe a typo. I'll look at the student list now and see where you belong" "Thank you!" I said smiling. I than looked around and decided to sit at a small couch at the corner of the office...

~about 10 minutes later
"Um..Peggy honey?" She looked at me worriedly. "Yes?" Oh no this can't be good... "Peggy... You don't attend Infinite Talent High.." "What?!!" How could this be?! I went to an open house, did an audition AND went to an orientation! Did I miss another one or something?! No way! I have to be a freshman here! Where else could I be?! "Well I just spoke to The Department of Education and they informed me that you actually attend Charter School of Ascending Studies..., I'm sorry"
What?! Are u kidding me?! THAT school!? I never signed up for that school!!! Wait...

"My Father!"

Hey guys! So this is kinda...crappy I know. I just wanted to see what it was like to write a story for once.
