Author's pov :

It's a lively Sunday night at the Rajvanshi palace, where joy and laughter fill the air. Everyone is gathered in the terrace, with the youngsters engrossed in fun games while the elders relax on the sofas, enjoying the cheerful atmosphere. Even Abhimanyu, after much persuasion from Adhi, finally joins in, adding to the merriment.

"Ah, this is so boring, Bhabhi. It’s Sunday, and here we are stuck in the kitchen doing the same old chores," Adhi complained, his irritation clear as he chopped vegetables. He glanced at Shivani, trying to gauge her reaction.

Shivani gave him a quick look and smiled faintly at his theatrics. Shaking her head, she focused back on her task, clearly used to his antics.

"Boring? Then what do you suggest, Adhi? How about we go out and do some shopping?" Preeti chimed in, her tone cheerful as she jumped into the conversation.

Adhi rolled his eyes in annoyance. Who asked for her opinion? he thought, feeling even more exasperated.

"What do you think?" Preeti pressed, seeking his approval.

Before Adhi could snap back, Shivani interrupted.

"It’s Sunday; let’s enjoy by spending some time together here," she suggested, her voice calm and soothing.

Adhi’s irritation melted away as he smiled at Shivani and nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, Preeti’s smile faltered, jealousy flickering in her eyes. She couldn’t stand how Adhi paid attention to Shivani while ignoring her.

"What’s so special about her? Why does everyone listen to her? She’s nothing but an average girl pretending to be sweet. I know she’s faking it," Preeti fumed silently, her frustration evident in her gaze.

As tensions simmered, Arha wandered into the kitchen. Spotting a sliced carrot on the chopping board, she grabbed one and popped it into her mouth.

"Arha!" Adhi caught her in the act and lightly slapped her hand.

"Ow!" Arha winced dramatically, clutching her hand. "See, Bhabhi! Adhi Bhaiya hit me here," she complained, pointing at the spot.

"Bhabhi, no! I just stopped her—she’s eating the veggies!" Adhi defended himself, looking flustered.

"I wasn’t eating anything, Bhabhi!" Arha shot back, feigning innocence.

Their playful argument escalated as they blamed each other, behaving like squabbling children. Shivani couldn’t help but laugh at their antics, her soft giggles filling the kitchen.

Just then, Vaidehi entered with Maanu, her brows furrowing at the chaotic scene before her—Arha and Adhi bickering, and Shivani giggling as she watched the drama unfold.

"That’s enough, Aru and Adhi," Vaidehi said firmly, her voice cutting through the commotion.

"Adhi, apologize to Aru," Shivani instructed, her tone leaving no room for negotiation.
