I peered over at Aristos after we'd finally gotten redressed, his eyes glossed over as he yawned wide with a stretch of his arms.
"Was I that bad?" I joked, laughing some as I scooted under the covers beside him.
His eyes immediately landed on me, a "really, bitch?" look spread across his face. "You're kidding, right?" I shrugged, though a smirk was on my lips. "Girl you wore me out- haven't busted like that in a while."
Romantic, wasn't he?
"Well, glad I could be of service." I said, my voice having a teasing edge to it.
He rolled his eyes, slipping an arm underneath my head as I gave in and cuddled myself into his side, my head resting on his chest, the silence between us comfortable.
"Y'know Scott heard us." So much for that.
I huffed, blowing air out of my mouth as I rubbed my thumb over the top of his hand, tracing over his 'Winter is Coming' tattoo. "I know, he made that pretty clear."
He shifted, rolling onto his side so he was facing me now as he furrowed his brows, pursing his lips together. "Still think you're better off without him." He says, giving a half shrug, his tone so matter-of-fact.
"Don't start." I grumble, rolling away so my back is facing him, earning a groan in response.
"I really don't want to come between you two." I say after a moment, feeling like I was speaking more to myself than to him. "But really feels like it's heading in that direction."
He drapes his arm over my waist, pulling me backwards so I was pressed firmly against him, his warm breath fanning the back of my neck. "Like I said, if you want me to stop, say the word. Otherwise- I'm definitely not complaining about it."
A defeated sigh escaped my lips, my body effortlessly relaxing into his embrace as the silence overcame us once more, my eyes growing heavier by the second.
"Just enjoy the calm while you can, he's not here, it's just about you and me right now." He says softly, his voice barely above a whisper as I feel him nuzzle his face into my hair. "Goodnight Sunny."
I let my hand drift upward, connecting it with his to intertwine our fingers, the warmth seeming to ground me. It felt different than being with Scott, it felt almost- normal.
"Goodnight, Ari."

Come morning I woke up alone, the space beside me that Aristos once occupied was cold and empty, like he'd be gone for a good while.
I sat up in the bed, debating whether or not to get up and go look for him or just wait til maybe he came back. I was also dreading running into Scott too, truthfully.
I froze in place as I suddenly heard the sounds of shouting, things breaking, and glass shattering.
"FUCK YOU! YOU PURPOSELY STOLE HER FROM ME! YOU KNEW I WAS FALLING FOR HER AND YOU GO AND FUCK HER ANYWAY YOU ASSHOLE!" I can hear Scott yelling as soon as I open Ari's door, flinching from the sudden loudness.
They were literally at the bottom of the stairs, Scott was in the process of swinging his fist directly into Ari's jaw just as he ducked.
"You literally went out and fucked Sophie after she embarrassed you in front of everyone! You fucking shot up with her Scott! How the fuck is Sunny supposed to feel when you pull that shit?!"
