Part 21

(Three months had passed, Letty was now six months along and she felt every bit of it. From the hip pains to feeling like she can't get out of bed some days. She missed out on some bonding time with Little B and it made her sad. Mia and Cat as been a great help, but she felt like Little B was pulling away from her. She finally made her way downstairs after feeling like she had some energy to fix some bananas and wheat bread with honey and granola. She had just sat down when he came into the kitchen grabbing a snack from the pantry.)

Letty: Hey Bubba.

Little B: (dry hello) Hey.

Letty: (raises an eyebrow) I'm going to the doctor and shopping today, you want to come? I was thinking maybe we can find out the sex of the baby.

Little B: (looks at her belly) Nah I'm good! Tia Isabel is taking me to the video game store.

Letty: Ohh, umm well maybe I can play a round with you when you get back.

Little B: Look you don't have to force yourself to spend time with me. I'm not a baby anymore, I'm fine on my own.

Letty: (taking back) I'm not forcing myself, I feel great now and I want to spend some time with you. Is that too much to ask?

Little B: (sigh) Maybe later.

(With that he walks off to head outside with Isabel and Cat. Letty sits there in disbelief and a little hurt that Bri brushed her off. After she finished eating she decided to make the best of the time alone and went shopping for some bigger clothes. Once she was done she made it just in time for her doctor's appointment. She was sitting on the bed waiting for her doctor to come in. She was deep in thought and didn't hear the soft knock before her doctor stepped in.)

Dr. Cole: Hello Letty.

Letty: (jumps) Oh, I didn't hear you come in.

Dr. Cole: Your deep in thoughts there?

Letty: Yeah, I kind of spaced out.

Dr. Cole: So we are here for your six-month check correct?

Letty: Yes.

Dr. Cole: How have you been feeling?

Letty: I've had better days. Lately, I've been more tired than usual.

Dr. Cole: That's common, it's best to get as much rest as you can now before the baby comes.

Letty: (chuckle) That's the same thing my sister-in-law said.

Dr. Cole: She's correct. Now why don't you lay back so we can get a look at the baby Toretto?

Letty: Baby Toretto has been very active lately.

Dr. Cole: That's normal, it's good. Now have you been having any pain that doesn't feel normal?

Letty: No, just extremely fatigued.

Dr. Cole: Are we finding out the sex?

Letty: (thinks about it) No, I'll let it be a surprise.

Dr. Cole: Oh that's fun.

(Dr. Cole placed the wand on her belly and she instantly heard her baby's heartbeat.)

Letty: Strong.

Dr. Cole: Very and everything looks good. Just keep doing what you're doing and in September you will meet your bundle of joy.

Letty: That's always good to hear.

Dr. Cole: You can clean that off and meet me at the front desk for your next appointment which will be the glucose test.

Letty: (makes a face) God I am not ready for that. I heard it is the worst.

Dr. Cole: It's not pleasant but it must be done.

Letty: Great!

(She pats Letty's leg and goes out to get her next appointment booked. After Letty leaves the doctor she stops to get some food and heads home. When she got back Little B was still in a mood towards her but she just brushed it off and assumed it would blow over soon.)

(In Indonesia Dante was going over his checklist for his mission. He found out that Dom's team found out where he was but he had other plans.

Dante: Ok all we need for this mission is some duct tape and pillowcases.

Geek: On it boss.

Leach: I have the blowtorch you asked for boss.

Dante: (grabs it) Hahaha this is going to be perfect. I'm going to wish they never fucked with my family.

Geek: When do we ride out boss?

Dante: Tomorrow morning before they get here. I'm going to hit their asses by surprise, they never going to see it coming.

(A day later in Rome, Dom is loading his boat when Leon comes walking up.)

Leon: Hey brotha, got everything we need?

Dom: Yeah, but Leon you don't have to come along.

Leon: They are my family too Dom.

Dom: (nods his head) Ok, but make sure you tell Carmen and your son.

Leon: I did already and she just told me to make sure I bring my lanky ass back home

Dom: (laughs) Don't worry, I'll make sure you come back home.

(He turns back to load up some more things.)

Leon: Letty is going to kick your ass when she sees you.

Dom: Yeah, but it will be worth it.

Leon: I still can't believe you two got married and have a son.

Dom: He is not Letty's biologically. I was with someone when I thought she was dead, but I didn't know until after she got her memory back. This crazy woman took him and his mother hostage so important work for her. Letty and I were on our honeymoon when she came to me and trust me Letty was pissed afterwards. The crazy bitch even went as far as to kiss me in front of her.

Leon: (chuckle) Damn, she must have a death wish?

Dom: Well they're both in a black prison no one can locate. If I knew Letty she probably already handled that.

Leon: (chuckle) Letty don't take no shit when it comes to family.

Dom: Hell I'm scared of her.

Leon: That's what makes her so lovable.

Dom: No doubt. Let's finish this so we can roll out so I can get back to my family.

Leon: Right on dawg.

(So they load the rest of the things they need before setting out at midnight to head towards Dante's last known location. Dom was determined to catch him and end him for once and for all.)

(The next morning in Indonesia, Dante, and his crew were headed out toward The Canary Islands as Dom's team was headed his way. He was able to track them finally and as he sat on his private jet, he had a devious smile on his face. Dom's team didn't know what was going to hit them once they arrived.)
