IVY DICKENS HAD MADE a deal that out of bart and chuck, whoever humiliated lily first would get the microfilm so now chuck was discussing with nate and cassie if he should do it or not.
"your not actually thinking of taking ivy's deal right?" nate asked as him and cassie watched chuck pace. "i mean he has no choice anymore" cassie stated, "cassie's right. i asked lily for help before. she refused" chuck said as cassie and nate's gaze drew to dan humphrey walking in.
"sorry to interrupt" dan said as he walked in. "what do you want?" nate asked coldly, "i came to apologize" dan said as cassie tried to hold in her laugh, "thats a shocker" she chuckled.
"i've been doing some soul searching" dan started, "that implies you have a soul" chuck interrupted as cassie snickered quietly. "thats hilarious. chuck bass turns out to be the good guy" nate said but cassie finished it off, "and dan humphrey turns out to be the villain" she said.
"i'm really sorry about what i wrote, and how i lied about you two and exploited it. but i'm here to make amends" dan said as cassie and nate shared a look.
"if you really mean that, you just gave me an idea" chuck said, "well i have to go talk to my dad" cassie pressed her lips together. "are you just leaving to avoid me?" dan asked as he tilted his head. "bingo, i guess we have a winner" cassie gave him a sarcastic smile before walking off as nate got up too, "i gotta go too" he said as he followed the blonde into the elevator.
"i can't believe he's apologizing" cassie scoffed as the elevator's door closed. "i know, after all he did" nate agreed, "he's playing everyone, including serena" cassie said as nate nodded. "are you actually gonna talk to your dad today or did you lie to get away from dan?" nate asked with a chuckle, "i'm actually going to talk to him today" cassie sighed as she looked over at her husband. "oh, well then good luck, call if you need anything" he told her as they walked out of the building. "thanks you too" she smiled as they parted ways.
the two were still on weird terms, they were talking and sort of worked things out and cassie moved back in but she didn't have her ring on and things just still weren't the same yet.
CASSIDY AND RYAN had both decided it was time to break the news to their father and stepmother. they had the documents and some what of the courage, now they had to actually do it.
cassie and ryan both waited in front of the door of their father's house, none of them knocking. "are you sure we have to do this?" cassie asked as her brother gave her a look. "yes cassie, we have too, now knock" ryan told her as she gave him a look. "why do i have to knock? you knock!" cassie said as her brother took a step down. "whoever is closer should do it" he smiled as she playfully scoffed. "your such a child" she said before knocking on the door.
