This is my first story so I hope you like it hahaha anyways picture of the main character on the side:) and by the way I'm sorry if the drugs and abuse insult some readers.
(PROLOGUE)
The room spun as she eased into the ice water. Her hand pressed the syringe to the outline of the vein. All though she knew this was wrong she had to do it. This was her only salvation.
Drugs. They were the substance that kept her alive but slowly killed her. All though everyone around her knew about her addiction to drugs her family was to afraid to get her help. Why you ask? Her father. That was why.
Every day she would come home to the promise that her father would be there waiting to give her all the insults and beatings that a human being, let alone a teenager should never experience. Some may wonder why she doesn't leave. Three reasons, Hope, her mother, and her brother.
With those thoughts in mind she eased the needle into her arm. She felt the cool liquid enter her bloodstream. She sunk further into the water as she felt the calm overcome her body. The blood ran from her nose and made It's way to the water and tinged it pink.
She heard the muffled screams of her mother through the water. One last breath and the darkness took over completely.
