Chapter 17 - Girls Day Out

Riya's POV

Raj was able to accompany me till the college gate as the college was long over. On the whole way, I could feel eyes on me. But whenever I turned to look in the direction from where I felt the stare and saw there was no one.

It must be shadow or something. I thought while shrugging off that thought.

As soon as we reached the college entrance gate, I saw both my friends standing few feet away from us chatting excitedly about something, most probably about the shopping and sale.

I turned slightly towards him and said,"I can go from here."

"I know." He replied softly but he still doesn't moves his hands away from my back.

"What happened Raj?" I asked him seriously.

"Nothing." He replied.

"You can tell me anything you want." I assured him.

"Yeah. I know. Before in my office, when we were about to ki-" Raj tried to say but got interrupted by a loud yell from my friends.

"Come on Riya. We are getting late. You can chat with your Rajveer later too." Monika yelled.

I blushed at the words 'your Rajveer' but yelled back,"I am coming."

I looked at him.

"Go. Your friends are waiting." He said.

"But you were telling me about something-" I said but he stopped me.

"We can continue our talk later. Go and enjoy hard with your friends." He said while moving his hands away from my back .

"Okay bye." I said.

"Bye." He replied and gave me a light kiss on my forehead.

I left him and walked towards my friends.

"Aww Riya. He kissed you on forehead. Its so cute." Aisha squeals while Monika was grinning.

"Yeah. He did." I said while blushing.

"Okay guys now come on we have to go to mall." Monika said.

With that we left the college.

On the way to the mall, I called mom.

"Hello." Mom answered.

"Mom. Its Riya." I said.

"Yes dear."

"Mom, I'm going to mall with my friends."

"Okay Riya. But be back at home before sunset."

"Okay mom. I wanna know, can I buy a dress for Angel Princess?" I asked.

"Its your wish dear. But buy the dress from Singhania's kids store." Mom said.

"Mom, Singhania's? Won't it be costly then?"

"It doesn't matter. Buy from there only. It has cute dresses for 5 year old girls."

"Okay mom. I'll buy from there."

"Bye dear. Enjoy."

"Yeah. Bye mom."

I cut the call after that.

I looked up to see both my friends staring at me.

"What?" I asked them.

"Nothing. Just trying to look for my best friend. Where is she?" Aisha asked.

"Why. She is here. I'm here." I answered while feeling confused.

"Riya, your changing." Monika stated.
