THINGS WITH CASSIE AND HER HUSBAND WERE STILL COMPLICATED. they both knew that they were okay but neither of them have actually spoken about it yet.
chuck had pretty much isolated himself in his room ever since bart blackmailed nate, and cassie had put herself in charge of making sure he ate.
currently she was in the kitchen making a batch of coffee, and attempting to feed her daughter some mashed up peaches and bananas.
"come on allie, can you please eat something?" cassie groaned as her daughter spit out everything she gave her. "has she eaten anything yet?" nate asked as he came into the kitchen. "she spits out anything i give her" cassie said as she noticed chuck come out of his room.
"where is monkey? i found his crying at my door comforting" chuck said as cassie furrowed her brows. "thats oddly depressing" she replied as she tried to feed her baby some food but she wouldn't open her mouth.
"i had ivan from house keeping take him for a walk" nate said, "why? because you were too busy reading up on new ways to betray your best friend?" chuck asked as cassie rolled her eyes as she turned her gaze to the two in annoyance as her daughter had just flicked the spoon onto her white shirt.
"allison!" cassie groaned as her baby giggled, as she went to go change her shirt.
when the blonde came back she saw that nate had been taking over to feed allison and approached the two. "she hates this stuff" nate chuckled, as she sighed, "i know" she laughed as she checked her phone to receive a text from serena, inviting her to thanksgiving.
"hey, serena is inviting everyone to thanksgiving today" cassie stated. "is bart going to be there?" nate asked as he put a spoonful of mashed peaches into his daughters mouth as she finally started to eat. "no thank god. him and lily are going on vacation, so i will put us down for a yes" cassie said as allison started to push the mashed puree away, getting it all over herself as nate laughed. "allison, come on!" he said as cassie's phone started to ring.
"hey ryan, whats up? are you going to thanksgiving at serena's?" cassie asked. "hey, yeah i am, but thats not why i'm calling, bruce caplan is dead" he told his sister whos expression dropped. "what do you mean dead? how?" cassie asked as nate looked at her with concern, "he fell off the bass yacht, he's done some work for me and i know you guys did some work with him, so i wanted to let you know" ryan explained.
"yeah thanks, when did this happen?" the blonde asked her brother, "about a couple days ago, i just heard from his secretary, i gotta go now but i'll see you" ryan said, "see you, thanks" cassie said before hanging up.
"who died?" nate asked as he tried to wipe the food off his daughter, "bruce caplan, he fell off the bass yacht and drowned" cassie stated as he looked up at her. "nate, you know what this means right? sheikh hassan died from a car crash in one of the bass's cars and bruce caplan died from falling off the yacht, bart obviously had something to do with their deaths and if we can prove it" cassie explained, "we can send him to jail, i got to go tell chuck!" nate said as he walked off.
