The Boy In The Black Skates[ON HOLD]

The Girl in Hockey Skates.

Christeen Edwards... as always busy on the ice again. She has been practising a new trick for a while now but just can't seem to get the damn thing right... As she lines up for the dubble rotation again, she jumps but loses her footing with the landing, and again is sitting on the cold hard ice,

" Shit," she curses her stupid mistake again.

This has been going on the intire day. Christeen has spent every Saturday for about a month trying to get this right but fails miserably everytime,

" Maybe you two are the problem."

She talks to herself, looking down at her CCM 2510 Hocky line skates... they have been with her for so long, she practically lived in them. Sometimes Christeen wondered if it would be better if she'd just ditch the Hockey skates and get herself a pair of figureskates like she's always wanted, but where would the title 'Freestyle-Figureskater' be if she actually had a pair of those? So she sticks with the hockey's. She began skating at the age of 8 and now 10 years later she is seen as the most reckless, carefree skater on the ice.

" Hello,"

A voice said behind her. She stiffend, she'd heard that voice before... Markus Williams... After his accident a few months ago he has been coming to the LA Kings Valley Ice center, and watched the people skate... He has been skating aswell, gaining strength and tried to build on his tricks again...
When Markus woke up in the hospital after the crash the docters told him that he would have to hang his skates and retire, that he would never be able to skate again. Then, in the spur of the moment he got an idea,

" But what if I go into pair skating?"

He thought to himself. And since then he has been looking for a partner. One day while he was waiting for the recreation session to end, he saw Christeen, busy with her usual routine.

"She looks good enough,"

He said, watching the girl in hockey skates perform a lunge, transforming it into a twirl with no hesitation and abselute grace.
