Ch.1

It's sad really. The way society used to be. People had strange ideas about life. Especially when it came to love. Women thought it was ok to ask men on dates! People were crazy in the age of technology. Things have changed since then.

For the longest time the world had been struggling not to go into world war 3. But a women became the president of the United States of America. Her name was Dorothea Dixon. She was named after a parametric in history. Once she came to power she bombed North Korea starting the war.

After the war was over the world was in mass destruction. More than half of the worlds population had been killed off. Only the country of America had been able to stay somewhat inhabitable. So everyone moved there. Shortly after tensions were so high, the "Bloodiest Battle" happened.

During the span of a week the 3/4 female population was tortured and killed. They blamed the war and bad time on women, so they dealt with it. Women were raped and killed. Finally men came to an agreement. This would be known as the "Life's Act".

Every year the men over the age of 18 would compete for the women over the age 18. Once a women was married she had no power or say in anything. She was treated as property. However before the age of 18 she could do anything she wanted. She had complete freedom.

The rule had worked well. Over time women came to accept it. They would party their life away until they turned 18 and then it was over. Most ended up killing themselves as they turned 18. They refused to abandon old ways of thinking. Most went with it. For they were curious.

There were two rules the women had to obey.

1.Not to permanently harm them selves.

2. To wait till they were married to become

pregnant

This new law stopped all wars. It increased population. There was no poverty everyone had a comfortable life. But was it worth it at the cost of taking ones rights away?

So this is short. But I just kinda wanted to help readers understand. I'm a girl. I seriously am not sexist in any way. This is just an idea that popped into my crazy mind. If you are offended in anyway by this story message me. Or don't read it. Either way I don't expect many people to actually read this.
