AN: Hey guys, welcome back! I have no trigger warnings or anything. So have fun

Caroline sat at the table where she saw the man sitting. He wore all black armor. Not like medieval armor, it looked more like an American S.W.A.T trooper's armor. Instead of POLICE on the front it said PPU. Maxy took the seat next to her. The soldier looked up from where he was petting Jupiter's ears and talking to him. His visor covered his eyes, and cloth covered his face, nose, and mouth.

"Welcome." His voice was that of a young gentleman, he folded his hands together. "I thought it would be wise to meet in a place where you felt safe."

"Why not on neutral ground." Caroline said.

"You and I both know that neutral ground truly means Garnok's." Unit 7001 answered.

"He speaks the truth Caroline," Maxy spoke up, already playing into her mysterious witch role by pulling her hood over her head.

Caroline smiled inwardly, Maxy always did this with non Valan people. It would make her cackle later when those she spoke to became unnerved. It never bothered Caroline, to her it was quite charming in fact.

"We wish to help you. We have already begun to train Mr.Jupiter to help Miss Doyle. I see you have a little dog by your feet. I'm guessing he's a starbreed, and he bonded to you."
"Yes," Caroline said.

"I can get paperwork filed to train him. If that's what you want." 7001 said.

"If it will help me see my niece I'm all for it."

"I agree," Marshall barked.

"Very well, I will get that paperwork filed." 7001 said. "My next concern is living arrangements. You can stay at our base while this one goes through training."
"We've already figured it out." Maxy said.

"Perfect," 7001 said. "If you need something feel free to reach out to us. I think that's all we really needed to discuss."
"Very well, how do we begin training Marshall?" Caroline asked.

"One of my fellow specialized units will swing by to bring you to our base every Thursday." 7001 answered.

"Maxy, I can take Jupiter and Marshall since you start work tomorrow." Caroline said. "I've been told that once I can finally get relaxed then the druids will open Fort Maria back up as it's their property. They plan on making me one of the librarians."
Maxie nodded, smiling, "I like this."
"May I ask a few more questions." 7001 said.
"Yes," Caroline said.

"What will be your place of residence for the time being be?" 7001 asked Caroline.

"I will be staying with Maxy in - oh crap - I already forgot the address." Caroline said.

7001 chuckled, "We have the address on record. My next question is what is the dog's name?"
"His name is Marshall," Caroline said.

7001 smiled, "Wonderful."
He bent down and rubbed in between Marshall's ears.

"That's the good spot right there!" Marshall leaned into the young man's fingers, tail wagging foot kicking the dirt.

7001 started muttering in a different voice, "Thassa good boy, yes sir yes sir, issa good boy"
Caroline smiled, but deep down something irked her. She didn't know what.

"We should be going now," Caroline said.

"I agree. May Aideen light your path," 7001 said, standing.

"And yours as well young man." Maxy said.

They walked to the stables where it appeared that their horses were already tacked up. Grim was wearing shiny new tack. It was a black western saddle that had a breast strap. The saddle pad was a druidic gray. The bridle was a solid mahogany brown. He looked quite handsome. A young woman was adjusting his cinch. She looked up when Caroline approached.
