AN: Hello my friends! Welcome back! So, first thing's first, Eri (the character who's POV the next two chapters of the story will be from) is my cousin's (Shadowviolet) OC. Just like my cousin, Eri goes by they/them pronouns. If you see me misgender them please do point it out so I can fix it. I think I fixed most of them but I might have missed one or two. Vi also made an art dump of the art they've done for Fallen Sisterhood, link in the ending notes go check it out they made a reference for Eri and posted it there. For you visual people Kamie is wearing the Hartwood set with Missisppi Jones' hat and Lionchaser (my starter horse :D) is wearing the Starry Oceans Bosal, the Capricious carnival saddle pad, and Rania's favorite saddle. If you look closely (and have a good memory) you'll be able to spot an Arthur Greenscale and Caroline cameo. Vi actually made Apocolypseblossom's (Eri's horse they get) concept, so kudos to them. Maxie plays a central role in this chapter so woohoo! We get a little more deeper look at Isueda and Gilbert (Maxie's mom and stepdad). Ursus Arctos Middendorffi is the scientific name for the Kodiak Brown bear. Another thing, Vala Hunting Parties is how they refer to groups of Vala who "hunt" Pandorians and hunt for food as well. Finally (I know I ramble a lot I'm sorry 💀), ancient names are used to call starbreeds to their partner (ex: Chaser of the Lions = Lionchaser, Mist of the Honey Lake = Honeymist) via the power of the Sun Circle.

Luna leapt up onto the bed as sixteen year old Eri Raincat shoved the last of their clothes into the closet. They adjusted their glasses and stretched. They rubbed Luna's ears. The snowy Maine Coon purred with delight, her pastel yellow eye glimmering. Her other blue eye was what could be labeled as sky blue, though they were slightly darker than their cousin's. Eri had been having strange dreams about a weird tree lately. Their cousin said she could help them, so they convinced Eri's parents to let them move in with Kamilla so that they could attend a prestigious art school that required at least two years in a high school in Jorvik. Kamilla was working for one of the richest people in all of Jorvik, so as such had a stable income. Eri stood back and admired the room. Their cousin would be back any moment now to take them somewhere. They had been led to their cousin's place by an unusually tall, hooded woman with a small dog. The small cabin was behind a stable that was embedded into the mountains by the Wildwoods. The Wildwoods was a strange place that seemed to be magical. How Kamilla decided to live here, Eri was unsure. Kamilla was keeping something from Eri, they could tell. Speak of the devil, there she was in the doorway. Her sky-like eyes glittered with the gentle glow of the fairy lights. Her short dirty blonde hair had been tied back into a stubby ponytail and she was wearing a dress shirt and brown coat with a short navy blue cape. Her pants had plenty of buckles with lots of small pouches and pockets.

"Ready?" She asked.

"Yes." Eri answered.

Kamilla grinned, "then let's go."

Kamilla turned and strode away. Eri followed her out of her cabin. Eri looked out into the huge area encased in steep mountains. There was a forest surrounding a huge clearing where many horses grazed. Kamilla took off her dark brown old fashioned hat. She whistled and one of the horses stopped grazing. It ran and disappeared. A pink portal opened and the stallion reappeared. Eri stood in shock. The stallion had ram horns sprouting in between his ears and the spotted pattern of a snow leopard. He had a white goatee of fur placed in beads. His black mane and tail flowed wildly

"Something you should know my dear cousin, is that magic is real, and you are going to learn how to do it." Kamilla said. "This is the horse I bestow upon you to ride until one chooses you. Chief of the Ivory Mountains. Or Ivorychief. Or just Chief."

Ivorychief whickered, folding one knee under him and bowing.

"Come, let us tack him up." Kamilla said. She put her hat back on and strode into the stable.
