The Field
Village of Ottery St Catchpole
- Devon, England
( July 1st, 1995. )

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐍 𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐆 𝐋𝐎𝐖 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐎𝐍, casting a golden glow over the field nestled between the Harringtons' cottage and the Burrow. The air was warm, carrying the faint scent of wildflowers and freshly turned soil. Fred, George, Cassie, and Olympia sat together in a loose circle on the soft grass, the quiet companionship a balm after days of grief.

Olympia had her knees pulled up to her chest, her arms wrapped around them as she gazed at the sunset. The vibrant hues of pink and orange reflected in her tired eyes, but they couldn't brighten the shadows that lingered there. Fred and George leaned back on their elbows, their expressions uncharacteristically subdued. Cassie lay stretched out on her stomach, idly plucking at blades of grass.

The silence between them was heavy but not uncomfortable, a shared understanding of the loss they were all grappling with. It was Olympia who finally broke it, her voice soft but resolute.

"I think our parents are hiding something."

Fred sat up sharply at her words, his expression wary. "What makes you say that?"

Olympia sighed, her fingers nervously twisting a loose thread on her sleeve. "They've been secretive ever since we got home. Whispering when they think we're not around. And..." She hesitated, glancing toward Cassie, who had stopped fidgeting to listen. "I heard my dad talking to Remus Lupin the other day. On the phone."

George frowned, his brows knitting together. "Lupin? What would he be calling your dad about?"

Olympia shook her head. "I don't know. But he was talking about meetings. About something called the Order."

Fred exchanged a glance with George, his jaw tightening. "The Order of the Phoenix," he said quietly, almost to himself.

Olympia turned to him, her eyes narrowing. "You've heard of it?"

Fred hesitated, his gaze shifting to the horizon. "Not much. Just stories from Mum and Dad. It was some kind of resistance group during the first war. Fought against... him."

George sat up straighter, his expression serious. "You think they're restarting it? That this has something to do with You-Know-Who being back?"

"I don't just think it," Olympia said, her voice firmer now. "I know it. They're trying to keep it from us, but... I can feel it. Things are changing."

Cassie sat up then, her face pale but resolute. "If they are, it makes sense. They know what's coming." She glanced at her brother and Fred. "But why wouldn't they tell us?"

"To protect us," Fred said grimly. "To keep us out of it."

"But we're already in it," Olympia countered, her voice rising slightly. "We were at Hogwarts that night. We were there when Cedric..." She trailed off, her voice breaking, and she turned her face away, her shoulders trembling.

George reached out instinctively, placing a steadying hand on her arm. "You're right," he said softly. "We are in it. Whether they want us to be or not."

Fred stared at the ground, his fingers digging into the grass. "We'll figure it out," he said firmly. "Whatever they're planning, we'll find out. And we'll help. There's no way we're sitting this out."

Olympia looked at him then, her eyes red but determined. "We owe it to Cedric," she said quietly. "To fight for him. To fight for everyone who's going to need us."

The group fell silent again, the weight of her words settling over them. The sun dipped lower, painting the sky in deeper shades of orange and purple, and for the first time in days, Olympia felt a flicker of purpose amidst the grief.

The fight was coming, whether they were ready or not. And they would face it together.

And they would face it together
