Bruises and Caresses

Chapter 6

The next few days passed, and Eren was still pretty badly beaten up, with many bruises on his face, arms, and stomach. This was probably the worst beating Levi's ever done to him, Eren could barely move and was in constant pain. 

Levi had forbade Eren from seeing Armin or anyone else. Anytime Armin called Eren would either lie about an excuse or not answer the phone. Levi would check Eren's phone everyday when he cam home from work. Eren had to stay home when Levi wasn't at home. If Eren got caught leaving or having anyone over he'd get punished. 

"Eren." Levi said before heading to work, "Be sure dinners ready when I get home, okay? Oh, and call me at noon while I'm on my lunch break, got it? I'll be home on time at 4:00." 

"Yes, Levi.." Eren replied, "Have a good day at work." he said as he walked Levi to the door. Right before he went to turn around, Levi grabbed him by the wrist and pressed his mouth up  to Eren's ear, "Oh, and one more thing.." he began, "You know what happens if you break the rules, correct?" 

"Y-yes Levi.." Eren replied, thinking about what horrible and painful outcome would happen if he disobeyed Levi, "I-I know.."

"Hm, good." Levi said, "Be a good little brat and you might just get a reward.." he whispered, licking the rim of Eren's ear. And with that, he walked out the door. Eren stood in the doorway for a moment before the phone rang, snapping him back into reality. He quickly made his way to the phone. "Hello..?" he said. 

"Eren?" answered a familiar voice. "It's Armin, we haven't talked in weeks, Mikasa and I are really worried about you.." 

Eren remained silent for a moment, questioning whether to hang up or not.. He knew he wasn't suppose to be talking to Armin or anyone else, knowing what would happen to him if Levi found out.

"Eren? You there?" Armin asked, snapping Eren out of his thought. "Y-yeah, I'm here.." he replied, trying to control the shakiness in his voice. 

"Eren, what's been going on lately? Every time I call you either make up and excuse to avoid talking or just ignore the call, we're worried about you.. Is everything okay..?" Armin asked in a concerned tone.

"Y-yes, everything's perfectly fine, Armin.." Eren lied, "I-I've just been busy with some wedding stuff lately, that's all.."

Armin didn't buy it. "Can we meet up soon?"

"Armin, I ca-"

"Eren, please, it's really important.." Armin said cutting him off. "It's something I can only tell you in person, please Eren.."

Eren thought for a moment. He knew the consequences that would happen if he snuck out..  But, on the other hand, as long as he would be back before 4:00, Levi would never know and he wouldn't be punished. And, say Levi did catch him, he could try to give him an excuse, like he had to make an emergency run to the store for something, although Eren knew Levi most likely wouldn't believe that..

  "I'll just have to make it back here before 4:00 and hope Levi doesn't find out.." Eren thought to himself. "Alright.." Eren replied, "Meet me at the park in an hour.."
