(It was three weeks later and time for Letty's doctor appointment. Dom was super excited because not only will he see his child for the second time, but they are going to find out the gender. Letty was sitting on the bed while Little B looked at all the pictures.)
Dom: B stop staring at those.
Little B: (points at a picture) This is the lady parts, right?
Letty: (chuckle) Yes Bubba.
Little B: And that's where the baby will come out of right?
Dom: B?
Letty: It's fine Dom. Yes, baby that's where the baby will come out.
Little B: (whispers) That's huge. I'm never going to put my girlfriend through that. How can your body do that Mom?
Letty: Magic bud.
Dom: (smirk) Good thing is, it doesn't stay that way.
Letty: (hits him) Really.
Dom: (shrugs shoulders) What? It's the truth.
Letty: (breath deep) Why don't you come over here?
(Just as he walks over to his parents the doctor comes in.)
Dr. Cole: Hello how's my favorite mommy to be? I see Dad and big brother are here today.
Letty: Tired!
Little B: Hi Dr. Cole.
Dom: I wouldn't miss this for the world.
Dr. Cole: That's understandable at seven months. I see here that your glucose test came back normal so that's great.
Letty: Yes, that stuff is disgusting.
Dr. Cole: Now I hear that we will be finding out the sex today.
Letty: Yes, we're so excited.
Dom: My sister is dying to know so she can go shopping and throw a baby shower.
Letty: Oh god!
(They all laugh.)
Dr. Cole: Ok mama, let's see if you buy pink or blue.
Letty: I'm nervous.
Little B: It will be a girl.
Dom: I'm with you son.
Letty: I thought we were on the same team here.
Little B: (touches her belly) Sorry Mom, but we have a connection.
(Letty rolls her eyes.)
Dom: Babe I'll make sure Mia doesn't buy everything pink I promise.
(Dr. Cole puts some gel on the wand before placing it against Letty's bump. She moves it around as they all watch the screen.)
Dom: Oh she's active today.
Letty: Yeah wish Bean would get off my bladder.
Little B: She's sucking her thumb.
Dr. Cole: Ok everyone can you look and see what this little one will be?
(They all damn near stopped breathing as they try to guess the gender. It only takes a few seconds before Dom throws an arm in the air and shouts.)
Dom: YES! YES! I knew it.
Letty: (teary smile) Hey baby girl.
Little B: See Mom told you it was a girl.
Dr. Cole: Congratulations you guys.
Letty: Thank you!
(Dom walks up to Letty and grabs her face.)
