Levi watched you from a distance as you joked around with your fellow cadets. A smirk tugged at his lips as he witnessed you keep everyone's spirits up - despite the fact that just a couple of days ago, many of your fellow comrades had lost their lives due to another failed expedition. Ironically, he loved your positivity and your ability to make anyone and everyone happy. Although your bubbly aura didn't seem to clash well with Levi's stoic and emotionless personality, you still had your effect on him.

"Whatcha eyein' there, Shorty?" A voice asked as Levi's small smirk disappeared as quickly as it originated. Hanji. Levi thought, clenching his teeth slightly as the eccentric brunette skipped towards him. "What's it to you, shitty-glasses?" Levi answered, not taking his eyes off of you. Hanji then placed her head beside Levi's, trying to locate where Levi's vision was directed towards. It then fell silent, with only the sounds of birds chirping and leaves rustling from the wind to fill the silence.

"Cadet (L/N)."

Levi stiffened at the sound of your name. "Eh? T-that's just absurd. Why would I be staring at a cadet? Especially her. Happy ass brat." Levi lied through his teeth, backing away from Hanji and straightening his ascot.

(A/N: LEVI'S NECK THINGY IS CALLED AN ASCOT. IT ISN'T A CRAVAT OK??? I'M FROM QUÉBEC AND IT MAKES ME MAD HOW PPL SAY CRAVAT. CUZ THAT MEANS TIE IN ENGLISH. ANYWAYS. CARRY ON).

He had been blushing, so he had made a weak attempt to conceal this by keeping his head down, pulling at his jacket to straighten it out. Hanji didn't buy it. Smiling from ear to ear, she giggled as she yelled, "Ah! I can't believe that Corporal Levi is in love with Cadet (F/N)-"

Levi's hand sped towards her, slapping his palm over her mouth. "Not so damn loud, shit-face!" Levi scolded in a whisper as a muffled giggle resonated from Hanji. Levi then sighed, pulling his hand away, wiping his palm on his pant leg to rid it of the warmth from Hanji's mouth. "Okay, it's true, I may have some feelings towards cadet (F/N) (L/N)." He admitted as Hanji stared at him, giddy and beaming with happiness. "See? That wasn't so hard to admit, was it?" She asked as Levi shot her a glare. "Don't you dare think of blurting out this to anyone. Not even Commander Erwin. If you do, I'll shove your head up a horses ass. And I'm not talking about Cadet Kirschtein's." Levi threatened as Hanji nodded, a smile plastered on her face.

A couple of moments passed until Hanji spoke up. "Then what do you plan to do?" She questioned as Levi's vision panned towards his favourite cadet, who was now sparring with Eren. He then looked back to Hanji, shrugging. "I don't know, nothing. It isn't worth my time. She'll probably kill herself in another expedition anyways." He said in a flat tone as Hanji began to formulate a plan.

She then snapped in triumph. "Aha! I've got it!" Hanji squealed as Levi raised an eyebrow in skepticism. "What would that be, shitty glasses?" Levi asked, putting his hands on his hips. Hanji then opened her mouth to say something, but Levi quickly interjected. "If it involves me being her knight in shining armour with one of your titan experiments, it isn't happening."

Hanji then pouted, pacing around. She then turned back to Levi. "I could talk to her then I can send her to your office often to complete some "favours". Just be sure to try and be more involved with her until then." Hanji explained. Levi agreed, turning away and walking towards you. "Oh, and Hanji?" He started as she responded with a hum.

"Thanks."

You were walking alone in a corridor of HQ, making your way to your room. You then decided to stop by a window, taking in the gorgeous view that the castle offered from the top level. You studied the stars, the moon, the peaceful state of the world. You then sighed, turning around as you decided to make your way to your room once again.
