It was a sunday when all of the drama started. I was happily dreaming of someone, someone i had never seen before, he was a dark, mysterious, sexy, fine man. As I walked towards this figure, I saw a light. I woke up. I startled and looked around, confused as to where I was. But then I remembered, I was in my room. I quickly looked towards my door to see my mother and father looking at me, with a disappointed face.
"Why do you sleep in so much, when it is a beautiful day outside." Then it hit me. I was going to the beach with my friends. I flew past my parents, ran down the stairs, scoffed my breakfast, had a shower, got dressed and then tried sprint to the bus stop as quickly as possible.
I looked around the bus stop, realising I was all alone, wondering what it would be like if I had a boyfriend. Maybe I wouldn't feel so lonely. I suddenly remembered my dream. Was that man real? Was I ever going to see him?
As I was thinking about my dream I realised my bus was coming around the corner. I put my hand outwards to signal the driver. I sat down and listened to music on the way to my destination.
About 15 minutes later, I finally reached my friends. They all looked excited for the day ahead. I was greeted with smiles, hugs and compliments on my loose, white beach dress.
"This is literally the perfect day to go to the beach!" said Bridgette whilst beaming.
"I wonder if we'll see any garçons," smirked Lily. Selene and I chuckled at this.
As we were walking along the soft sand, in anticipation of emersing ourselves in the cool, clear water, I saw him. This tall, blonde, muscular boy was laughing with his friends. He definitely stood out from them by a long way. He looked familiar, I swore I had seen him before. I realised I must've been staring at him. I just brushed it off and then smiled at my friends, showing my bubbly self. The one who always talks and never shuts up. We walked around the beach, set our towels and bags down and then decided to go for a refreshing swim.
I was slipping my top off, when I paused saw him again. I stared straight at his, tanned, toned abs. I thought that this guy must be from heaven. I had never seen anyone like him before, I had never felt this way before. I thought he must be the one. He caught my eye and I quickly looked away, but he began to approach me with a smirk on his face. I looked up and saw he was right in front me. We were so close. I could hardly breathe. But then he opened his mouth.
"You know, you could be a little more subtle when checking me out," he said arrogantly. It was that moment that I realised, he may be extremely hot, but he was a jerk. Definitely not the type of guy I want to associate with.
"Well, I'm not going to deny that I was checking you out. In fact, I did find you rather attractive, until you opened your mouth!" I said whilst crossing my arms. I ran towards the water to catch up with my friends. They were all looking at me from a distance with curious expressions. I tried to forget about my awkward encounter with the most attractive specimen I ever laid eyes on and carried on enjoying myself. But, I just couldn't seem to keep my mind off of him.
