She looked into her locker, where little drawings of a small purple girl with vibrant green eyes, purple hair, a red dress, and swirly red hat, were pasted around. Along with some of a woman with long blue hair and a golden instrument of some sort in front of her. And of a mermaid with a staff amongst many more characters decorated the inside. Then of course lied her books that reminded her of her more bothersome tedious life task, school.
"Hey Riven! What are you doing during lunch?" Called a boy with shaggy hair and pale skin.
She turned around after she closed her locker hiding her League of Legends shrine within, "Hey Takumi, what you been up to?" She said with a smile as she leaned on the lockers behind her.
"I'm pretty sure I asked you something first." He retorted with a crooked smile.
She crossed her arms in front of her chest, and returned the crooked smile with an added hair flick, "Oh, but I'm sure you'll answer me first." She said as she poked him with her slim finger.
After a couple of seconds of an intense stare-down he finally broke and let out an exasperated sigh as he ran his fingers through his bangs, "Fine, you win." Then after a short pause he added, "This time." And his crooked smile was back, "I was just wondering what the wonderful Riven would be doing around lunch is all. That's what I'm up to."
She chuckled, "Well played, Taku-chan." She teased as she poked his nose, and started to walk towards the library.
"Hey! I told you not to call me that Riven!" He called as he followed her.
"Awe, why not? I think it's cute." She said as she stuck out her tongue at him as she walked backwards. Then she spun around and turned the corner really quickly and then reappeared on the floor. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" She hissed as she looked up at the person behind the corner.
Takumi watched already knowing who she was talking to, "No can do no-life. Because it's you who should be watching where she's going. You bumped into me, and you're practically in front of royalty, you should be grateful to have me standing here looking down on you." He said.
She let out one sarcastic laugh, "You're hilarious; you should really consider being a comedian. Because no one can take you seriously Jayce."
"Alright, alright. Cool it you two." Takumi said starting to intervene now. He held out a hand for Riven to take hold of, and she took it, but remained glaring at Jayce.
"Where do two no-lives go during lunch anyway? It's not like you two belong anywhere. No one is going to notice if you two just left the school and never returned." He started to poke at them.
"You know what?! If you didn't have wrestling and football, no one would even talk to you! And I bet if you died they would replace you like that!" She said with a snap of her fingers. "Because all you are, is a way for this school to get more trophies." She sneered.
"Whoa, okay, easy there Riven. He's not worth getting all worked up over. Let's just go to our spot and have a pleasant time. We have enough for a quickie, let's go." Takumi said as he took her by the shoulders and lead her away. Leaving Jayce standing there with a fake smirk on his face.
"Okay, calm down Jayce, she's not right. She's not telling the truth. Just breathe and walk, no. stride away." He thought to himself as he looked after the bleached white haired girl and her Japanese friend. "I can't wait for after school." he thought to himself and really smiled. "She really makes me feel wanted, and needed." He chuckled to himself as he thought about her, and soon a grin started to form on his lips. "Yeah, she knows exactly what to say always. She needs me just as much as I need her. I just wish I could meet her in person. That would be great."
