Enemies: Part 7

I look up and see's the same boy from this morning. It is Scott. Ethan jolts his arm so that Scott could let him go of him. "Don't...you...ever touch me again." Ethan says, looking like he wanted to hurt Scott...no..more like kill him. Scott rolls his eyes, takes me by the hand, and walks me out of the classroom without saying a word. I look up at him and he looks back at me. I blush and breaks the awkward silence between us. "Umm..I...uh...thank you for standing up to him.." I finally say. "It is no problem at all m'lady...he had no right laying his filthy hands on you anyway...I couldn't just sit there and watch." I look down and instantly blushes seeing that me and him was still holding hands. I remove my hand from his and looks away from his eyes. "You couldn't watch?" I say suddenly. He looks at me surprised. "Well yeah! We are in the same class after all!  I sit two seats across from you...I saw when he suddenly grabbed you...I thought he might hurt you or something..". I look back at him. "Yeah so did I.."

Scott fixed his eyes on me..almost like he was trying to read me like a book or something. I looked back at him, trying to figure out why he is staring. "Hey Rosie-chan!! It's almost time for lunch!!". Kate walks over to me and I quickly look away from his eyes. Kate sees me and him standing close to each other. I could tell that she wanted to ask who was he but she somewhat brushed it off and told me to meet her in the cafeteria and skips away. I let out a big sigh and looks back at Scott. "Well..I better get going...thanks again..bye". He nods his head and he watches me as I walk away.

It is lunch time, and yet again I did not eat. Kate is sitting there across from me, staring at me and giggling so hard. So hard that she might bust a lung. It is obvious that she wants to know about the guy I was talking to..it's written all over her face. "~sigh~ Look Kate..he is only a friend". She laughs even harder. "It is not funny Kate! I'm being serious!". She laughs out loud and finally stops and talks to me. "Rose, Rose Rose...You don't have to explain your new boyfriend to me" She says playfully. "Kate!! He is not my boyfriend! He is just a friend ok." I say, folding my arms over my chest. "Alright whatever you say Rosie...uh...speaking of him...I think he is headed this way."
