      Trace's POV:

It's been three weeks. And Lily hasn't woken up yet. Despite the fact that I'm totally failing all my classes, my friends want me back and my mom wants me home, I won't leave her side.

It's hard for other people to understand, especially if they don't have a twin, but me and Lily here have been through thick and thin together. From the times when we both broke our legs, to her teasing me endlessly about getting my first girlfriend, to me teasing her endlessly about her getting her first boyfriend, to dad dying, and to mom putting growing up pressures on us.

I ain't leaving her yet.

"Lily, if you can hear me, please wake up. I love you and I need you now more than ever. Please stay with me." I said, tears falling down. No response. I put my head down on her hospital bed and cried, feeling absolutely terrible.

I swear, if she dies, i'm going down with her.

        Lily's POV:

"Lily if you can hear me, please wake up. I love you and I need you now more than ever. Please stay with me." Trace's voice floated through my head. I woke up and touched my necklace, my heart breaking yet again. Trace. He was the one I fully remembered now. He's my only connection to earth. I have to see him.

I got up and walked over to my cabin door, meeting Ash.

"Oh, hey!" I said, almost running into him. He smirked.

"Hi. Coming to see me were we?" He asked. I blushed.

"Guilty. Listen, I need to see Trace. He needs me." I said. He frowned.

        "Trace who?" He asked.

"My twin brother. The one who I've been with all my life. It's great here but I need to be back down on earth with him. My life down there wasn't perfect, but I need him. He needs me." I said. He put a hand on my face, wiping smudge off my cheeks.

"You still haven't fully become one of us yet have you?" He asked. I shook my head.

"Then let me try and change your mind." He said.

Before I knew what was happening, he leaned in and kissed me on the mouth.

It's not like I didn't know what to do, since I've kissed Casey plenty times before. But this shocked me. I barely even knew Ash.

Yet despite all this, I kissed back, putting my arms around his neck.

He pulled back and looked me deep in the eyes. My cheeks flushed and I looked down, letting my arms drop.

"Sorry." He said. I shook my head.

"It's okay." I said, smiling a bit. He smiled too and glanced at me one last time before leaving.

My thoughts buzzed as my heart did a happy snoopy dance, but Trace still stayed in my mind. Ash was a great friend and all, but if he tried to prevent me from seeing my brother, he was going to have hell to pay.

My thoughts shifted to Mark. He could help me since he was the newest arrival.

I put on my shoes and ran to his cabin.

"I'm not leaving you either Trace. I promise." I thought hard.
