We sat there in Starbucks for about a half an hour just sitting there talking until we all finished our drinks. Once we all finished, we got up ready to go pile up in Bailey's car, and it had gotten really cold while we were in there and it started to snow and being the dumb person I am, I forgot a jacket.

The moment we stepped outside, I started shivering and my teeth started chattering uncontrollably. All of a sudden, I feel someone poke me with something really soft. I turn to see Matt handing me his sweatshirt.

Matt, no. You're going to be cold and then you'll get sick." I protested.

"I don't care. I just want you to be warm and not get sick. Now take the jacket and put it on before I put it on you myself." He said pushing the jacket at my again. I reluctantly took it and put it on and immediately felt warm, but then I saw Matt trying to show that he wasn't shivering but I could see it.

We got to Bailey's car and when she unlocked the doors, we all opened the doors so fast so we could get in and warm up a little more. Once I got in, Bailey looked at me and then at the shivering Matt in the back seat and said, "Why don't you go back there with Matt and keep him warm?" I looked at Matt as if I was awaiting his approval and all he did was nod his head really fast.

So I braced myself for the cold air and ran to the back seat. Once I was in, Matt held me so tight. We started driving and there was no music this time, so I started to get really tired so I put my head on Matt's chest and closed my eyes. I was almost asleep when I heard Bailey's voice.

"Be good to her Matt. She's been through a lot of shit in the past week and I don't know if she'll ever go back to the Layla she used to be." I felt Matt lift his head up to look at her and he said, "Oh trust me, if I haven't left yet, I don't think I ever will. I love her way too much to lose her over something she has no control over."

"Good, I just want to make sure that I'm leaving her in capable hands. Someone that can handle every little thing that comes after she leaves here. She's still going to have the memories and those are going to make her so emotional and you have to not question it and just be there for her."

"I will always be there for her, even when she doesn't want me around anymore, I'll still be there. I love her a lot more than she thinks I do." Matt said as he played with loosed strands of my hair and that was all I heard before I ended up falling asleep.

I woke up to Matt shaking me to wake up. I was still half asleep, and didn't really feel like walking, so I just put my arms up like a little kid when they want to be carried. Matt picked me up no problem and he walked into the house. When he walked into the house with me in his arms half asleep, everyone just got really quiet as we walked through, trying not to be too loud that they would wake me up.

We finally made it to my bedroom and Matt laid me down on my unmade bed and put the comforter over me and started to walk away when I grabbed his arm and pulled him back, my eyes still closed. I heard Matt chuckle and then made him way to the other side of the bed and came up right behind me, being the big spoon of course. He pulled me into his chest really tight and then we both drifted off to sleep.
