Innocent.
Thousands of innocent people,
Are being killed everyday,
Just for the greed of their country,
They want another weapon,
Or they want more control of another piece of land,
So send their soldiers out to defend,
To protect and fight for nothing more,
Than a piece of grass.
The bravery of our soldiers,
The ones that risk their lives,
To protect our smiles,
And our homes,
They lose more than we do,
They lose their friends,
And sometimes their sanity,
They lose all that’s special to them,
To protect those that are special to others.
One day,
We will have to fight,
To protect our lives,
We will have to say good night,
With pride,
And loyalty,
With pleasure of seeing them smile,
The ones close to us,
That’s I.
Although I know the reasons are bad,
They affect our lives,
Our homes,
And the way we live,
Thousands die daily,
To help the others they love,
To help the world,
To let others live a good life,
And so I..
I am going to fight,
When I turn sixteen,
I am saying goodbye to my loved ones,
To keep them safe instead of I,
I want them safe and happy,
And so I do all I can,
So that at least if I am killed,
I am proud,
I will die brave and proud,
Happy I have done my duty,
To help around the land.
Thousands of innocent people,
Sign their lives away,
Those are the people I look up to,
The ones that make me smile,
To see so many soldiers,
So many brave people,
Go away to protect me,
I look up to them,
They are my heroes,
Not the stars that do nothing,
nothing but have everything given to them,
When there are real survivors and heroes in the world tonight.
